For those who are about to eat, don't read this if you have weak stomachs like me. lol It was chicken night. Hubby did the marinade..and barbecued the chicken.. the smell was soooo good.. we know we will be eating A LOT. After it was cooked, i prepared the table..and we all sat and ate. Till i notice my sister-in-law eating only a little. bit by bit and i asked her if she is feeling fine..and if she like the food. She said she love it..but she just saw something under the table that lost her appetite. And curious as i am, i looked under the table and guess what i saw? grrrr dog poop! Hubby's new puppies were running around and one who is a bit delinquent and hard headed won't poo outside and he found a way of doing that under the table. talk about loosing appetites!

Oh shocks. I too, would lose my appetite, if i see a poop under our dining table. Not that i am being meticulous, but i really don't like eating where there is bad smell and something gross like that. I don't even like stories that pertains to topics that mentions those things and the like, during a meal.

Gosh, right under the table? Surely your sister - in - law would lose her appetite right at the moment. You should kick out those puppies out of the house, and then start your dinner. That is how people do it. I can't imagine how you gonna waste all the good food tonight.

hi jazel__juan oh my gosh dog poop it stinks about as bad as anything I could describe.now I am queasy but its more because of the antibiotic capsule I just had. it is very powerful and causes nausea in a lot of people. but it will pass in an hour. sorry about the stinky dog poop. that would do it to ones appetite for sure.some puppies take a while to learn to go outside.

Oh dear, that is not good. I am sure that the puppy didn't do it with the intention of making everyone loosing their appetite, however I think that you might want to consider puppy pads. They are little pads that you place in an area of the house (like the basement of by the back door preferably) and the doggy will do his business on the pad. I am sorry that this happened while you guys were having dinner. Hopefully it won't happen again.

It's normal for puppies to do that and I hope you'll find a way for that particular puppy to poo outside. I can understand your loss of appetite because food and excrement just don't get along inside one room. I experienced that myself years ago and it turned my stomach alright. Just make sure that next time the puppies are not running around like that or you'll remember the poo under the table each time that they do.

I probably would come back to eat again! I'm very used to dog poop, because we always have dog. Right now, we have a female lhasa apso and I have to clean dog poop almost everyday, so, for me, I would just throw the poop away and come back to the table.

Well definately that would not be a good site to see while eating dinner as it would not help the appetite for sure. Maybe next time to avoid something like this happening again you would consider not letting the puppies run around in the kitchen dining area so close to dinner, or try making them go potty while thinking about dinner to avoid situations like this in the future.

Stories like this always make me sooo happy that we always get adult dogs that are already trained. I don't have the time or patience, or health for that any more.

Jazel, if it was me, i will surely loss my appetite as well. Who can stand the smell and even the presence of that dog poop, which just right under the table. Seems like, we will need to choose a place that's free from animal, to have a good appetite. I think your hubby might need to find a way on how to educate those puppies, as not to poop under the table anymore. Otherwise, no one have the appetite to eat there anymore. Hope to hear more from you...

Haha it is funny. Good thing I am not eating anything right now. But I still laugh with this experience of you. Good thing that your sister in law have courage to still eat even little by little. I just wonder why haven't you smell the poop before eating or before preparing the food.

LOL, I've gone through worst. Dog poo doesn't really make me lose my appetite. I can always ignore it, and maybe transfer to eat somewhere else far from the poop. I lost my appetite that one time a cockroach landed on my left arm. The food was not that good either. So, instead of eating, I got busy trying to find the cockroach in order to kill it with my mighty slipper!!!
