How motivated are you in work?

Some of the jobs that I have had has been very interesting, it was never a problem for me to keep my motivation, and I looked forward to new challenges every day. When I have to a job that it is not very interesting it is much harder for me to find my motivation. I like to give myself some small "rewards" when I finish part of job so that I have something to look forward to for instanse if I work online, I take breaks where I play a game or chat with my friends. After a small break I often get new energy and it is easier for me to finish the work.

I always think that I wouldn't be able to be proud of myself unless I do something productive for each day. My greatest motivation would be my husband because he believes in me and he's not pressuring me into becoming successful, that's why I wanted to become successful even more. It is how you perceive work and if you're actually enjoying doing it. I make sure that my job is not controlling me but the other way around so I can still live my life to the fullest with little or no stress.

I work pretty hard most of the time, mostly because if I don't do the work, it doesn't get done - I'm self-employed. (Also, houses around here are very expensive, so if I ever want to be able to buy one, I'm going to have to work hard).

Well, I love my work. Since, I love my work, then there is no motivation needed. But there, are times though that our body is sick and usually its tiring and hard to move around. Still, I try to give my best. You are indeed doing right.. Focus is the key. If we have a lot of distractions in work, no matter how easy it is, then most likely, we will not be able to make the job done.

hi befrindwithme I worked for 23 years in the local library and I loved my job and had all sorts of motivation, getting media back on the shelves allowed the patrons to search for their favorite authors and books. It was satisfying to see my cart empty and see people scanning the shelves for their favorites books. so I always was well motivated and liked it when patrons praised me for being a good worker. I also worked with a great crew of people who all got along so well with each other. this helped me to be motivated.

When i complete a big project, i feel happy. Sometime, my team will represent the company to attend competition. When win and representing the country, feel honor. That is how I push myself to work harder :) Also, increase of salary is another main reason!

i like my job, like my boss, like the people that i work with so i do tend to push myself when i am at work as i am at home when i want to get stuff done.

good day befrindwithme26, with regard to your query, the way i motivate my self is very simple. but that simple thing really dry my tears from my eyes. as this issue is related to my family. they are the ones who push me to go on to my passion and that is to earn, earn, earn and earn. as because of my family members are pushing me to my limits so i have told myself that i must earn a big amount of money and live my own, having a home of my own and get out from here. so, this is how i was motivated. as i need to get a new shelter for me. the reason why i am really eager to work and earn more money. cheers.

Hi, befrindwithme26, it's not easy to do a perfect work day after day. I like my job, this is a big chance, but sometimes there are difficult tasks or problems with co-workers. A couple of years ago they introduced a new computer system and we all had not only to learn a lot of completely new things but also to struggle with all kind of bugs and problems. The thing that motivated me was the thought that I was getting an important new qualification at my age - I'm 52 year old. I think that it was a little victory for me. Have a good luck!

I am very motivated at my work as long I am feeling well both in health and mentally.

Me am not so motivated in work but i push mysedlf to do it.i just think about my kids and my future that i want to be.I think about the things that I want to have.and thinking all this things makes me more motivated and eager to work to be successful and get what i want in the future.sometimes we feel weak but we need to continue,our dreams wont be achieve if we fail.
