I am trying to figure Newt Gingrich out. He seems to be belittling people are the time. I do not know if I want to hear an other president wining in office. Gingrich's wining is getting to me.

That is his style, that is why he had the gut to tell his wife to have an open relationship. How can he disrespect a woman to that extent? For sure, I hate anything about him.

Both of Newt's daughters and several people who knew the family well during that period of time say that story is false. They presented that to ABC before they aired that interview, but they weren't interested in hearing the truth when lies suited them better.

Of course you do not expect the "husband snatcher and the offsprings" to admit their father was a rotten man. They just did it to try and cover up the story.

Newt and other says that this was a lie and false. But he whined about it for the first 15 minutes of the debate. Instead he could have said that you for letting me clear this up once and for, and then go on from there. Instead he chastised the media and whined.

Wait until the nominee is chosen and see what kind of stuff will be thrown out from the oval office at him. Whomever our nominee turns out to be, he will have to be able to give back as good as he gets. It's unfortunate, but that's how it is. They hold Mitt's success against him. They hold Newt's past mistakes against him. And they are trying so hard to find something on Santorum they are looking up his wife's ex-boyfriends after this many years to find something they can use against Santorum. When you have a lousy record to run on, I guess all you have left is to try to destroy the opposition. Meanwhile, the press ignores the connections of BHO with terrorists, shady real estate deals, and probably lots we don't know about. They kept quiet about John Edwards until a rogue publication broke the story and they had to run it. There is definitely a double standard, and I think that's what our candidates are reacting to.

I agree with both of you! I think we are in deep trouble with our available choices!

That standing ovation Newt got while he was blasting John King of CNN looks more like a fighter the people appreciate, not a whiner that would turn off a lot of people.

I was liking Newt, but after these debates, I can't stand his whining, arrogance and nerdy little nature. This could turn off a lot of people in the election.

So far I do not think any of the candidates are strong enough to beat Obummer the Usurper. I pray that somehow someone gets rid of Obama the Destroyer!

Maybe if you would try building up the republican candidates rather than doing the democrats job of putting them down, we might end Obama's reign.

I am vetting. I want the best candidate. If somehow I could tell Newt to quit whining and instead use it as a teachable moment, it he would have looked a lot better. Reagan did not whine, but instead taught.

I'm so sick of the 2012 election year that I guess I haven't been listening that closely. Who're all these people that Gingrich has been belittling? The times I have heard Gingrich, he sounds pretty intelligent, he has a logical response to questions put to him, and people don't push him around. I'd like to see that trait in whoever our next president will be.

I don't understand why we all get so involved over someones personal lives. I bet every one of us has a secret somewhere that they don't want out. When presidents ran in history I am talking about Washington through Lincoln while now we delve into their personal lives it was not about what they had done. But rather what they could do for the US. I am having a hard time with the last 4 that are standing as the nominee just with principals and worrying on which candidate to choose for candidate. I don't want to hear the first question asked of a debate about someones personal life. I want to hear what they have to say on the economy, regaining and building countries trusts again and how to get Americans back to work and off welfare and food stamps. That is why Gingrich went off on the question asked not that it was asked. We are being sidelined by the media to keep this crap in our minds about the candidates instead of figuring out who can win the campaign and do better for the country.

This entire topic is why I don't like the left. They can't even get along with each other. They're already dividing into Republicans and the Tea Party. To a degree it's a normal progression. But whatever happened to "United we stand, divided we fall" Both parties need to put aside their differences right now to fix unemployment and the debt. Half our problem stems from the fact that they can't move a single descent bill regarding fiscal policy without one side attaching garbage to it.
