lover doesn't imply that you are only someone's girlfriend or boyfriend. being a lover in the true sense really imply a lot of things... i am a lover, i play multiple roles besides being someone's girlfriend. at times m his "mother" who scolds him, make him learn to do a thing and teach him the right thing. at times m his "best friend" leaning a shoulder to him to cry, bring his heart out, support him when he feels the loneliest. then comes the role of girlfriend where i stand by his side , kiss him , adore him and give him the love he want from me. then comes the time when m his "biggest" and "tough" critic.. who become really tough on him but yes also gives him the best feedback about the concerned thing.. so this is the life of me as a "lover".. and you know what i really love it.

I think to a certain extent we all do this. I had never really thought about it though in my own relationship, but its always a balance of give and take and different roles that each individual puts on at a given time. The trick is to not overdo a role and allow a switching back and forth. Thanks for posting this, it has made me think about my relationship and where its at.

hello Lannielui :) yes its true that we need to create a balance . Of-course we cannot overdo a particular role that can have a negative affect on the relation. but yes we have to also see what is required by our partner, and when. this much understanding can built a level of dependency on each other which is always welcome when you know how much you love that person and s/he loves you. thank you.
