Family,food, together.

we site down together and dine together.

We seem to busy to get together every night. We do sit with the younger one and there is no phone calls during dinner. It's hard to eat together with my older daughter working late and my husband having 2 jobs. I don't let my children sit in front of the tv while eating. All meals whether we are all together or not has to be eaten at the kitchen table.

My husband, kids and I always as there growing up, set at the table for Dinner. Now when we are all home at nite, we still set at the table. this is are time to chat and learn what were all doing. My kids grew up really liking this. There the ones that make a point to set at the table.

Hi friend I think it is important to sit down and eat with family. Thats agood thing to do. give quality time with family always.

Some times we do sit together, But it depends , also we like to watch tv when we eat so we usually do that.. Or sometimes i even eat alone because my husband sometimes has to be at work, or my duaghter is not here.. So it all depends on whats going on around us.

My family almost always has dinner together. Sometimes somebody is off doing something else or at a friends house, but the rest of us still has dinner together. Basically, whoever is home sits down and eats dinner.

We try to, at least for evening meals. Me and the kids sit together at dinner as often as we are all in at the same time. When my partner is in, he'll usually sit with us as well. He often works in the evening so it is hard for us to all be together. We usually have the tv on while we have dinner. I lways find it rude to talk at meal times and my partner is such a slob while he's eating anyway, I'd rather have the tv on than listen to him eat! I have plenty of time to talk to my children anyway so it's not like that half an hour is necessary for being sociable. And my partner is barely capable of intelligent conversation anyway.

When I was in China with my family, we always ate together at the dining table, that's part of our traditional. but now, I am in Canada, living with other friends in a rented house, and it's hard to meet the time, so we do not eat together, miss my family

Its a very busy household we live in, people coming and going all the time, so we all make a regular day on sunday of making time to sit at the table to have dinner together as a family. During the week the younger 2 children sit at the table.

We all sit and eat, usually in the same room. We don't have a dining table because when we moved into the smaller apartment we lost our sunroom where we were going to put a table. We usually all sit around the sofa.

We probably do about 3 nights a week. It's my husband that's usually not there. Me and the boys usually eat together. Sometimes I let them eat in front of the tv or computer.

Well, we all eat in front of our own TV's/computers around here. Everyone is on a schedule. Even if we take meals at the same time, we rarely take them in the same room. We make supper together, usually, then once it's done, the hubs heads to the bedroom where his TV and pc are, I usually come in here, the kid either eats in here with me in front of the other pc or in the living room in front of the other TV...unless we have company, then we all eat together.

In my family we all sit down together when we have dinner. Other times we are doing other things or we are probably at work or at school.

no we are not raised to sit all in the dinner table, it's sad but oh well.........
