Hot summer weather

Here I am working out the air condition to the maximum. They say it is the hottest week in 47 years here. Temperature stays at 40C and even at nights the coolest is 27C. And when I am watching TV all talking to relatives in the other side of the world, they are all bundled up to keep them warm in winter weather. Such is life.

@sishy7 I hate the heat. I can tolerate it....but I would rather be trying to get warm than trying to cool down.

Ah! So this explains why we had such a hot summer here this year. You got fed up with all the heat in your place and sent it over to us!

This was 11 months or almost a year ago! No wonder it feels like we are talking about recent weather. In 10 days summer will officially begin here.

I wish that was the problem here. We are in the middle of winter and it has been raining for the past 5 days. On top of being cold and windy. I much prefer the warm and hot weather to rain cold and wind. I am working my heater over time and fear the next bill. I can't tolerate the cold.

Yeah, I talked to my sister-in-law in the states this morning. She also thinks I am lucky to have the sun where she is all cold and rainy. Here though, the sun is quite scorching. We do need to wear sun protection gears when outside; hats, sun glasses, and heaps of sun lotions to protect our skins.
