I really still want to make an effort

I really wanted to start this year off making an honest attempt to make a little money online. Unfortunatly I had way too much happen to really make any effort so far. My mother in law was diagnosed with cancer, my niece had something horrible happen to her (will not publicize this) my father in law has had a stroke and is in the hospital untill mid feb at least. They say things happens in threes so hopefully this is it and everything will get better from here on out. So here I am again vowing from this point forward I am actually going to make an effort make some spending cash. I informed my mom of some of the things I was trying and she decided that it was hilarious. Quite insulting how she laughed at me. Has anyone ever made you feel you were waisting your time trying to bring in a little extra cash? Are you determined to overcome their criticism to prove them wrong? How do you manage keeping your goals in site?

Really sad to hear about your family .dont consider people who criticise you. Some people find happiness in critisising others. Do your works correctly which will bring good results for you. Prove that you are the best to people who criticise you. Hope you will earn what you want and win the hearts of people who critsise you. All the best.

You are right. I shouldn't pay attention to the people that critisize and just work on my goals for me to the best of my ability. Thank you

I don't really care what others think of what I want to do. As I am doing it for myself, I don't need to go out and prove them wrong. In fact, they may even be right but we all have our own ways. I do listen to what they have to say but it is my decision. Earning online is not easy but not impossible. With your determination, "a little money" is just somewhere in the Net. In a while you may be making more than just a little.

Thank you for the encouragement. I find it hard to mot be affected when someone laughs at your efforts though. Iguess I just have to leave the laughers out of my attempts to make money!

Shiesse, I earn a living writing online. Like you, not everyone understands or approves of what I do. I have had to be confident in my calling in life. I enjoy writing, and I am alright at it. More importantly, I understand how I am providing a legitimate service to others. For this service, I expect to be compensated. Only by thinking through the economics of my service and its value, am I confident in my profession. I am sorry to hear about your recent struggles. May the coming months be calmer at home, so you can focus on earning a side income.
