Is Nokia disappeared from store sales?

A friend of mine question on this, he said that on other day, he was browsing on the cell phone section, he couldn't find any of Nokia brand cell phone, which I think he is a brand - loyal to Nokia. Sadly, there wasn't even one Nokia appear in that store, that was best buy. I guess Nokia has to revamp its feature, and the design of its phone to be able to compete with other smart phone or Iphone. Otherwise, they keep on losing market to other competitors. So, do you notice Nokia gradually disappear from the store sales in current market?

I agree with beamer even though the number of Filipinos who are using iphone and samsung smartphones these days is increasing there are still many people using and buying Nokia phones, Filipinos are still patronizing Nokia phones because and they have many units to choose from, from simple and cheap ones to high end units like N9 which really looks so cool!

Nokia will never be out of cellphone markets. It's the leading brand of mobile phones. I have used nokia since it first released its 9000 communicator. I love Nokia. And now I am really after Nokia X7 and N8.

Hi, king. As your title is a question, I will answer it. In Indonesia, nokia still appear in market but nokia shadowed by Samsung and Blackberry Smartphone. Nokia seems to be less attractive for customer in Indonesia but I cant tell exactly that their sales decreasing.

I brought the latest Motorola mobile when I moved to Asia from the States 12 years ago. I did not even know about Nokia then; but I quickly changed the Motorola when I found out that Nokia is actually the most popular brand, I believe until this day.

I thought i was alone in this observation. Nokia has taken a hard beating from the new market players of iphones and ipads. They need to upgrade their features if they hope to compete.
