What happened now to mylot microsoft word? I mean, mylot used to correct wrong spellings and grammar when words are wrongly written . These days, I cannot see those red marks everytime I commit wrong spellings due to fast typing. Mylot should bring it back because typos cannot be really avoided. What can you say?

I don't know if Mylot have his own spell checker, but i use Opera as my web browser and it has a spell checker itself, so i can have all my typos corrected always it doesn't matter the web page i use, even i can change the language...

It use to have that is why I was surprised not to see typo errors corrected this time. I cannot only rememebr when was the last time my typo errors were corrected. I just wish mylot is going to bring "it" back. I cannot avoid commitng typo errors especially when I try to type fast.

Ah that is interesting. My own web browser is set to mark spelling errors, so if myLot did really have any spell checking software, I would not rather have noticed it. I have always used a browser that has had spell checking software, because when I try and spell anything right, that is going to be a leap of faith. So yeah a spell checker is a necessity. I do agree that it should be a part of the website. Not all people's web browsers may have a spell check or they might have it turned off. However, some people rather can benefit from a good spell check to say the very least. Typos are naturally something that is human to do. We all tend to fall right into those mistakes rather easily. Thus having the need for a spell checker.

You mentioned it. No wonder I noticed my reponse box clean whenever I type and with whatever I type. I just tried typing an erroneous word and there was no correction. I do not know if it was mylot or my browser since this has been the one I have been using all the while when there was still the spelling checker. But come to think of it, people who are bad at spelling or english are given the advantage of this. Let it stay the way it is then since mylot does not require people to be proficient in the vocabulary and grammer.

Dear friendI did not know that there was an application of Microsoft Word, concerning the correction grammar correctly to post a discussion here on Mylot. However, I own Microsoft Word Starter by Windows 7, even on this package is available that application?

you are in confusion, mylot din't correct spell by showing red lines over the wrong typo spell error. It is property of every browser which has included dictionary theough which it check the correctness of spelling and i didn't tnink it mylot have something do with it. You need to uninstall yoir browser and re-install it then it will start working correctly. It is browser that correct the spelling so check out for it.

Hi there iren66, Hello there hope you are doing fine this day, i think the spell checker is doing fine, i just made a n error i while ago and it popped up the red line, so i guess there is nothing wrong with it try to check with the administrator or maybe something is going on with your computer that is causing the spell checker to be absent.
