I find that most the online home based jobs are scam. Please suggest me an legitimate website in which I can make money online. Also I see that the upfront fees are very high to register in the website. I am looking for a legitimate home-based data-entry job without any upfront fees. Please help.

Hi Krkavsy. In the 12 years or so that I have been online, I have never came across a legitimate data-entry job site - free or paid. I'm not sure of which home based job sites you've seen that are scams. It's been my experience that many people label sites as scam when they require payments or work and that's just not the case. Cheers, Stan

I have surfed and found many free registration sites and I also get mails. I registered in paisalive.com. My earnings reached Rs. 500/- but these buggers took 45 days to process the request and made some lame excuses for not paying the amount. Their criteria is that we should participate in the mails but I get the same mails again and again. If I register them I get irritating phone calls. What a waste!

In my opinion the microworkers and mturk is also a good site like mylot. I am not interested in data entry work.

There are many ways to earn online, you just need to find the ones that suit your time and skills best! If you want the high paying jobs then try freelancing or odesk but you may need a skill and it gets pretty competitive there. If you want to write articles, there's iwriter which pays well and you just write your article based on what the client wants. If you want to start simple, then there's hubpages, squidoo and Helium which you earn by writing articles on anything you like. You can write reviews such as reviewstream which pays you to submit reviews on anything. There's Slice the Pie that pays you to rate and review music, very simple and easy. If you prefer answering questions, there's Weegy or games, there's secondlife and anno1777. Try different sites and see what you like.

hi krkavsy, you can try and visit the website found on my profile. I have already withdrawn from these programs several times. they are registered companies so you can trust these sites. our rule of thumbs for online earning sites is.. "never invest money"! we are here to earn, not to get scammed! any sites that will ask for a registration fee is 99.99% scam! stay away from those sites... other scam sites have other way of scamming their members... registration is free but you will be required to upgrade or invest before you can withdraw. and most of the time.. you can't really withdraw your earnings even after investing.. what a waste.. :)
