Hi everyone. Say, You have posted a discussion and waiting for a long time for a single response. You have responded to your friends dis and waiting hours for comments. You have posted some pics and no response u have gotten for a long while. In such cases do u think where are all those mylotter friends? Are they sleeping or busy with other stuffs. I do think sometimes. Lol. Where they have gone? I mean do u really wait for mylotters? :). Please share your views.

Hi shibham, I have been away for a week and I saw this discussion in myLot digest sent on my email which yahoo mail is putting on the spam box So maybe some are also on vacation, sleeping or just busy with their offline works and activities. The reason why they might not be responding is because some of the post you have might have been overlapped by new and latest discussions.

You are right enelym. As you were in vacation and i thought you get married and blocked your account as viji. Well, i always search whether a discussion is already posted that i am going to post. Hence, there are less chance to get my discussion overlapped. Have a nice time.

HI adhyz, Yup we just need to understand them if they are not online here, we don't know what keeps them busy offline HI shibham, Ah! marriage?!? Don't know when that will come. Just keeping myself busy with other things now than marrying. When the right man comes then I will be happy to announce it here. It will take some more years before that happen.

some discussions are not that much interested to respond. We cant expect others to respond. If our discussion is interesting and good, automatically the number of responds increases.

what you said is really correct. The contents of some discussions are really good, but they are not get noticed because of the title they give. So,catchy title is always as important as content.

Thats why i always give importance to a catchy/spicy title too. I started a discussion on this issue earlier here.

Oh, I know what you mean. I know how annoying is when you post a new discussion and wait impatiently for the responses, but nobody bothers to answer. Fortunately, all my discussions got at least one answer eventually so I suggest you to wait a little more and the responses will come. I have no idea where are all the mylotters, they were supposed to be very active today, as today is the last day of the month and the last chance to reach the January payout. I know I try to reach for it. Will you reach it, or you already did this?

Hahaha,,,, i have already crossed 3 years here and not a single discussion of mine is still without a response. I took this discussion as an universal.... i mean not a particular mylotter or not a day, as a genuine issue. here we get the payout either on 14 or 15th of the month. Have a nice time.

SHIBHAM: how are you? not met for a long time. Yes nowadays I get a few mails from mylot informing about new discussions started. that means less number of discussions are started by my friends. All our friends must be busy with their regular office/shop/home work. I had been to the college for taking classes. I enjoy posting my comments as first comments for your discussions.

I scan the topics and look for something of interest. Some days, nothing has caught my attention - a lot seems repetitious. I like discussions that start one off thinking, rather than just making automatic responses. It's easy when someone asks something like, "What are the best survey sites" to roll off a list of ones that have been reputable and profitable for me. It's more difficult - and challenging - and therefore, more financially good if someone asks, "Which type of tasks of Mturk do you enjoy doing the most!". The answer for that would make me think. So a discussion that makes me think I will participate in.

Yes, me too. sometimes i wish to have on mylot but dont find anything interesting and lose interest and at that time i think either i have to start a discussion or just leave mylot. lol. Those type of discussions, i always ignore and never step in. Actually they really make me irritated. have a nice time.

You startled me with this topic as if you know that I am half asleep. Usually I couldn't be bothered to respond when my brain is partially shut. When the brain juices doesn't flow, nothing can inspire me to post. Nice to have someone still very active at this hour...its 12.26 am now. I'll hit the sack in a minute.

hi shibham one has to get a bit philosophical here and just do your very best on your discussion then get a catchy title and go post on others discussions. Sitting moping oh poor me nobody has responded to my discussion does not avail you anything so pass if off as half the world is awake while the other half of us are sleeping.Say a little prayer for your masterpiece then go on and do o thet things. When you come back you will see a lot of us woke up , oh hey there a discussion from shibham so am goin to read thst. wow this is great. Gotta get my response done here and so it goes we win some, lose some but keep on trucking shibham .Our friends will find our discussions and all will be well again., good morning,. got to go breakfast call. from hatley.

Well, there are various reasons why our discussions started don't have replies. One is, the topic is not interesting for them, maybe some mylotters does not know the topic or did not experience it yet and they have nothing to share. You see, we are from different places and sometimes there are things discussed in here that some of us could not relate to. That is why they don't bother to respond. I myself do not respond to discussions that are not of interest to me, even if it was started by my friends. I consider it a waste of time if i could not share something that is sensible. On the other hand, I do not also expect that all my discussions started would have many responses.

Wow , shibham , your discussion is very long , what are you complaining about ? I barely read the first page. I just read every discussion carefully and I gather thoughts about the subject , I'm not affected by title or the subject itself , it's a challenge to learn about something we don't know and actually respond about it a quality respond. To save time I read only the first page of the long discussion and respond about it. In general , we need a lot of information about this complex reality and we are becoming more global as time fly. I use some intuition and some self experience to make a respond. I hope all of us will not judge discussions by their title because we may miss important things and content. Please , have some patience , we can learn from everything. Our brain can consume a lot.

Just think about how many available discussions are here still exist after 4 years , there is no chance for me to read and respond to all of them. I barely answer 10 different discussions a day. Did anyone try to count the new discussions that were started even during one day ? Some of my discussions were answered only after some weeks , one of them was not answered yet...I also answered a discussion that was 4 years old but was still relevant. And the owner even answered to my respond.

hi shibham, Mylotters have different situational relation. Everyone can choose a discussion that captures their common interest wherein they can relate and share ideas with. Responding and participation to discussions is a freedom for everybody and not an obligation to someone. I also experience the same thing once and it made me realize to make and post an essential discussion that might be engaging to most Mylotters! And I guess this discussion does! Cheers!

Regardless of whether people are friends or not, if the discussion doesn't interest me, it is difficult for me to respond, if I do. I personally have been dealing with a sick family member and haven't been on MyLot much or responding to anything. It may be some time before I'm back in MyLot, because the family member has to have surgery soon and isn't yet over his viral sickness. It has been about 6 weeks since it all started, but I was on for a while, but less lately. I have noticed a comment from several MyLotters that they have reposted similar postings under different categories. I've not had that problem yet. I'm going to check your other discussions and see what I can say. Thanks for your discussion.

Yes, its better not to respond if we feel that we have nothing to participate on that discussion, whether its started by friends or not.. its not a matter. Sometimes if i jump to respond where i can relate myself and coz its only started my friend, then i may be considered as a fool. Hope a rapid cure of your family member. And wish to meet you all the time as a friend. have a nice time.

Sometimes discussion topics just tend to not gain interest. Or they just get buried under others really quickly. As I look, there is no exact science why some topics tend to get a load of responses and while other topics get few to none. Then again, there are times where the topic does not appeal to a lot of people but there are other reasons. Talking about low quality topics, there are times where if a topic is too high quality, requires too much thinking for a response, then that might be a turn off to people as well. Then again, it could be just for no reason at all that topics are not responded to. Also there have been many slow starts with topics picking up when I have left for a few hours in the past. There are a number of variables and obviously there is only so much time in the day.

Hi friend... I am just picking up a point from your response. yes, there are some serious mylotters and some are only to have fun and to gain interest. Who starts a serious discussion, gets less response as i have noticed from my three years here and you have also mentioned that in needs too much thinking which everyone cant afford. Again, most mylotters are here only for money and they have no need to think a lot to post a reply where as they can earn the same amount easily. I have liked your response. Have a nice time.

Some people are here for money but if a topic really interests you it's easy to respond. I find at certain times of the day it's easier to respond to serious, heavy thinking topics, like in the morning when not too tired, whereas if I try to myLot at nighttime I can be too tired to think properly.

Dear friend, although I have not opened a public discussion on this subject, the same thing is happening to me too! I write a few threads, and this I admit, but the answers I receive are very few. They just asked 1 or 2 people, although I try to write targeted discussions, avoiding the "general discussion". So dear friend, what can we do to find our dear readers Mylotters?

Hi, I really won’t blame mylotters and my friends here for their silence as they too have offline activities including sleeping. Whenever I start something, I make sure it needs to be an interesting one so any mylotter can place his response, irrespective of our friends in the list.
