Me and my b/f was thinking to do something on Friday but not sure what. Either go to a nice restaurant and spend some money or to a buffet & eat like champs :) I was thinking we should start saving anyways so maybe something thats cheaper.

I prefer casual dining on the weekend. Something like Fridays or Chilis is fine with me. I love Maggiano's and On The Border as well. I always look out for coupons and specials.

hello! If you want to save money you can eat in not so expensive but great foods when you can both of you will enjoy also. But you can also treat yourselves in expensive resto or buffet once a month. In times like this you can save money.

If you need to go out I'd say going to a buffet is the way to go. Everyone gets what they want and they are happy. Though we try to only go when we have a coupon, extra money, and have not eaten much during the day. Otherwise to save some money start menu planning and making meals at home.

I would say go to the nice restaurant. I really dislike buffets though, so I have a bias LOL. A lot of buffets are just not nice, and it inspires overeating. I would go out for a nice dinner & cocktails! That sounds good to me!!

Buffet in your home I guess, try cooking for your boyfriend you'll both love it for sure, as he complements your cooking and you being fulfilled, try experimenting more with what you can do both. It will cut your expenses and you'll get more bonded with each other as well. :) When I was living with my mom and getting my allowance from each of my parents surely I had splurged on eating fancy food in fancy restaurants of course.. buffet etc.. While as of now, I am living alone and doing my own budgeting(bills come first) And him as he helps me also :)) We try to limit our "dating expedition" I cook for him and he enjoys it =)) Now we only go out during special occasions and of course we try not to deprive ourselves lol =))

I like to go to a good restaurant but I find them way too expensive. A buffet is picking your own food for a certain price you pay? If so.. mostly the price is too high for the kind of food and quality there is. Also I am not a big eater so in the end it's too expensive for what I get. I also think for what I have to pay for 1 person I am able to cook great meals with for 1 week for 4 people.
