usually in our professional life we are make to meet up targets that is given to us and not meeting might have a negative impact on our career. in other cases in life people face with so many challenges that being "ethical" and "true" make no sense to them. they are in absolute need of achieving their goals and try to be the center of attention. For them working hard seems less worthy and less helpful to make their reach their desired position or ahead of everyone. the craze and hungry of being the best and the most wanted in some way or the other drag people to opt for various short cuts in life, even in many small petty issues. every body started believing the facts that "hard work is way for losers and smart work is the way for achievers"... but i do believe that such success and achievements exist temporarily and not even let you learn anything in life. do you friends have ever applied any short cuts that make you reach success in life for that particular time being??

yes most people today hidingly use this word "Shortcut" even I tried to follow this word in my life but frankly speaking the results are seldom good but yes seldom they are good than most of the times I failed with shortcut and faced criticism from my aquaintence that I m nonsense although I knew that its not me who is non sense but all try to use shortcut in life than later when I tried to analyze where I went wrong and answer was again that one word thats "Shortcut" so shortcut yes most people today try this strategy but the bitter truth the only way to success in life is a painful cut and thats "LONGCUT" and not "SHORTCUT"........ I guess I can't even think of an example of what a 'short-cut' in life might be. I think anything worthwhile is worth working for. If that makes sense. . I really can't say I've taken any short cuts because so far I really haven't GOTTEN anywhere in life!!!

I had taken a short cut once or twice when I was younger in order to reach a certain goal of mine fast. And it worked, I got what I wanted. But I felt empty after. I couldn't even be proud about my accomplishment because what I did to get it wasn't something you'd be proud about. There's really no substitute for honest hard work to succeed in life.

Every now and again I have had a short cut or two that I have made. And they really have worked to varying degrees to be honest with you. That is really the thing about taking a shortcut. There are just going to be a lot of times where we are going to be sorely tempted to say the very least. And there are times where it is just as bad when we make it a bit harder on ourselves than it really needs to be. However a lot of the time, the long way around is the best way. Not all of the time however. A shortcut is more often than not a rather calculated move in life, something that will maneuver us forward throughout life and sometimes it may come back to haunt us later, but it may be a move that is really going to make sense at the time.

I never cared much about what others say or think. I started to work to pay my bills, to be able to stay alive, to send my kids to school etc. At a certain point I decided to work less. Working 60-80 hours a week did not make me happy. So I turned this into working as less as possible but still be able to pay my bills. This way I had way more times to take care of my kids, see them grow up and not always be in a hurry. If your own self esteem, your succes in life is only be rated by your job I pity you. Why? Because it doesn't take much to loose a job and if so.. there won't be anything left over from the person you are.

short cuts are really not that good for long term success, you should always consider every option that comes in the way and then you should always try to look for the best among the options and never take short cuts think about everything

I believe that shortcuts can bring on more stress in the long run. Doing things without thinking clearly, whether it be a short cut or doing it the hard way is never good either. One can, in a way, take a shortcut to succeed at whatever goals they set out but first must understand that this shortcut is temporary and they will need to work harder to make things work completely for them.
