I am soo cranky in the morning its a shame because I would think I be use to it but I'm not. Every morning when I was little my mom would wake me up early, she was in the military so we had to wake up 5am sometimes 4 in the morning. Now that i'm in the military I should deff be use to waking up early. I guess I'm not a morning person and will never be one.

Some things change over time like that, though. I never used to wake up early on the weekends. And when I did it was only because I had to work. Now that I work a regular full time job, I find myself waking up at between 7am-8am both Saturdays and Sundays where I don't work! I get so angry about that too because I wake up and I'm ready for my day - but I never have anything to do at such an early time in the morning. I used to be able to sleep in until 1pm... Now even if I go to sleep late I still wake up. It's an internal alarm thing I guess.

Neither am I, I dragged myself out of bed at 7am, time to go to the swimming pool with my kids. I slipped and slided over there by car that didn't heath up so it was only -15 degrees Celcius inside. At least it was kind of warm inside the swimmingpool (for me all dressed up, my daughter kept shivering). Back home I was kind of surprised I was not that broke anymore to go back to bed. So stayed out to do all the laundry, helping my kids with their homework etc.. after that (about noon) I feel as if I can fall asleep every minute.. I try to stay awake but it's hard.

I'm a bit more mentally put together than many are in the morning. However, I will say that there are some mornings where it is just going to be an uphill battle for me to get out of bed. There are just times where I look outside and see that its dark and dismal and the bed is just all warm and inviting. Who would rightly want to get up out of that? Yet, there are other mornings where I just spring right into action, right out of bed. It is an extremely interesting dynamic. One that I am rather intrigued about more times often than not. But the morning can be a battle for some, a near war as a matter of fact. That just seems to be the nature of the beast. Alas the mornings can be tricky.

Every job and thing I have done in my life it seems I have more energy at night than mornings. If I have to wake up because of an apointment somewhere I just really feel like I am going through the motions and feel exhausted. Having my babies when they used to need nursing or come in the bedroom I would just pull them in bed with me and we all went back to sleep LOL When I went in the Army and did Basic Training sometimes we did not go to bed til around 2am in the morning and they would wake us up at 4am I would just get up and laugh. If I had not been thinking with humor I know I would have not made it through basic. Of course this was teaching discipline and while I respected what I had to do I just had to laugh it off. Almost every job I have ever had was evenings or midnight shift it offset not needing a babysitter when Hubby would be home. Now I just wake up and stay in bed til I am fully awake. It gives me an hour to eat my cereal and play here on mylot.

I was a morning person as a teen and then lost it in my twenties when I stayed up late all the time. Now that i have a child, I'm back to getting up early and it's actually working out quite well now that I'm used to it - the first few months were rough, though.

my girlfrine isn't either, but I am. I always have been. Even on weekends, I don't like sleeping past 9. Sometimes I get up around 8. I njust like eating breakfast, shaving, showering and just getting the day started.

I'm not a morning person either. I can stay out half the night and be ok, however getting up early really hurts no matter what. I'm not cranky because I understand I'm just not a morning person. I don't take that out on others.

I am a morning person but I don't wake up as early as you. My morning routine starts at 6.20 am almost every morning. Thanks to the alarm clock that I am that precise. I don't appreciate to be awaken earlier than that as I will have a hard time trying to go back to sleep after that.

I'm not really a morning person, unless I know I have to be somewhere in the morning.

I think it's terrible to get up early in the morning. It's terrible, you know, especially when it's very cold and dark outside. I used to lie in on weekend morning. However, in the weekend days, I have to get up so early in order to catch shuttle bus from our company. Every morning in the working day, my alarm clock sings for quite a long time before I am awaked. And It's easily for me to go back to sleep again even though I tell me again and again that I need to get up to catch that bus, or it will be late for work.

Yes once up it is a brand new day and getting up early gives us time to do the important things we have to do first then enjoy the rest of a good day. Have a great day from Deeeky

Usually I wake up pretty perky. I like to get up and get my day going. But there are days when I just don't want to get up. Those days I do start out in a bad way. Thank goodness they are few and far in between.
