...am i red or am I blue

Okay, I read the guidelines and the FAQS regarding Mylot stars but this situation still confuses me. I had reached the rating of 95/100 and I was a red star. then, for a period of time, my star color went to blue (which made me very pleased). then, I log-in and found out it was red again. This is confusing. Is this this a glitch. I don't whether I am blue or red but personally it's important to know where I really belong. Thanks for someone who could explain.

The colour of the star is based on pecentages.
If your percentage is 95.49 your star will be red.
When it moves up to 95.51 it will turn blue.
Inside your star you can only see the 95 and not the part after the decimal point.

hi jeanneyvonne you are on the hub there as 95.4 is red and 95.5
is now blue so you will swing back and forth u ntil some kind mylotters remember to rate all and give you enough pluses to
go past the one percent difference. I have been there too and wold love to get just enough push to stay blue. lol lol lol

Yes. 95.51 and above is star rating 10 - blue. Below that in 95 is 9 star rating. It happens for all of us. In fact for me also it has happened probably 7 or eight times. do not worry. it will move to 10 soon.

I hope so too! I guess I felt a sense of accomplishment when I saw that I was a blue star. It gives a good feeling when you reach a certain goal. But it's on the edge, you I'm not really disappointed. Just curious and many helped to relieved my curiosity.

Yes it happened with me too i remained on RED for long but the number i had was "95" 
but its OK once you reach to 95.5 your star will turn BLUE don't worry friend you will be in BLUE sooner just keep on writing quality contents on your responses and comments.

I'm rather new in mylot, but from what I understand, stars, ratings, rankings, can vary from day to day, week to week. Also, once you get to a certain status, it doesn't mean you will stay that way. It sounds like it depends on a lot on your discussion content. For example, if you've been giving meaningful responses to posts, your ratings will go up. If you slack in your responses, your ratings will go down. Thus, sometimes good, sometimes not. The important thing is to keep all your responses meaningful.
You said "...my star color went to blue. Then I log in and found out it was red again" Did you wait longer between logging out and then logging back in again. Maybe more time passed between your responses, so your rating can go down. Just a thought.
I think where you "belong" is based on how often and how meaningful your responses and posts are.

...but then you say that it doesn't have anything to do with how often you post or how meaningful anything is.
Didn't that just contradict each other?

Hello jeanneyvonne. Congratulations because you have attain red and blue star. I am inspired to be part of mylot. Because I want reach the red or blue star. I hope someday. But it is too far I know. I have to work hard more.

i guess everyone explain it in details already though i can only add that your more than lucky to have 95 out of 100 dont worry we can all experience a blue star, i used to also have blue star before though it doesnt affect our earnings so as long as i am here active reponding though blue is still nice but cant maintain hardly the blue star unless we choose our words nor have a lot of friends to vote for just all positive ratings if ever theres some though somehow its unfair lol
