Coffee creamers

I just got my first ever coffee maker for Christmas this year and so far I love it!! Now that I have one, I've gotten a few coffee creamers and I never realized how many flavors they have. So far I've gotten gingerbread and Bailey's French Vanilla. I had the french vanilla this morning and it was very sweet and I didn't have to put sugar in my coffee. I want to try a bunch of the other flavors just to see what they're like but I'm not sure I'm that crazy about creamer in my coffee. Before the creamer, I would just use regular milk and it tasted fine. Now that I used the creamers, I noticed that they leave a funny taste and feeling in my mouth and I'm not sure I like it. Milk never did that but the creamer does. Do you use milk or creamer in your coffee? I'll use either one but I still haven't decided how much I like the creamer. They taste really good, but I don't like the aftertaste or how it leaves almost like a layer of film in my mouth.

I use creamer. I like the dry sugar free French vanilla. I sometimes get liquid coffee mate in different flavors. I love them. I don't care for plain milk. I don't use sugar. I use sweetener because sugar makes me have dumping syndrome due to stomach surgery.

I prefer to use real milk in my coffee but sometimes that is not an option. I agree with you that at times it leaves an aftertaste.

As yummy as the creamer flavors are, I think I'd have to say I prefer milk as well. The aftertaste is kind of annoying and I always have to brush my teeth right after having my coffee.

you could try the flavored coffees and use milk with them. They are pretty good tood and shouldn't leave an after taste.

I'd love to try the flavored coffee creamers but I can't because I am allergic to it. I once tried french vanilla and I was in agony (and in the bathroom) for a whole day. I sometimes use milk in my coffee and the regular non-dairy creamer. But I can't place more than a teaspoon because I will be spending my day in the bathroom if I place more than that. This is also one of the reasons why I don't frequent those expensive coffee shops people here in my country are so addicted to. If ever my friends and I go out and we go to these shops, I just have hot tea. I once tried an iced lattes and again got sick. I guess I am lactose intolerant so I really can't have these creamers. So sometimes I just have my coffee black or just tea.

I use to use milk, but once I started using the flavored creamers, I can't go back! I love all the flavors that they have now, and the holiday flavors, like peppermint mocha. I also like the caramel macchiato, and the gingerbread. There are so many, two of my other favorites are the Almond Joy, tastes like biting into one without all the calories, and now they have York Peppermint, it's great too. I have never noticed the aftertaste though.

Oh yeah I've seen these different flavored creamers. I've just been into coffees for about two years, and I've never known anything to go with coffee except creamers. I've never tried milk before. Anyway, I have tried a flavored creamer once, and I didn't like it. I stick to the original version/flavor.

I usually use milk if I make my own coffee, but I prefer a black one. I drink coffee with creamer only if I buy the instant package or hang out at the coffee shop. I'm not good in putting creamer into my coffee. Sometimes it's too much. Lol.
