Best responses-anyone cares

Here so much newbie are coming in mylot.Some read the guidlines some not.When i was searching some old discussions i searched out that about 100 and more have not selected any best response.It helps mylot community to get best quality contents.But who care

I do care for the best response
.I always appreciate if someone award me the best response as its like someone has appreciated me for my response.Similarly i select the best response from the responses i get on my discussions though it may be delayed.

hi jatada for a newcomer you sure worry about things. I do give best response but not at once as I wish to let all my many friends have
time to respond. so maybe I go two weekds but I do get them all
done.

It is a good practice to mark "best response". Although it may not in anyway help to make money for the receiver but it is a recognition that the contributor has put in a quality response. I think most of us in myLot are not solely for the purpose of making money - it is the discussions and the help we can get from other members that make myLot a stand out site from others. That is the reason we are here almost 24/7!
Sometimes you may think it is hard to choose the best one from many good responses. But do try to choose one, any good one. It is better to praise one than praise no one. It means a lot to the person who received it. As the discussion starter, only you have the right to make the award. Do it for the members who response to you. Although myLot doesn't make it compulsory to award "Best Response", don't you think the function is there for a purpose?
I would suggest that a "Best Response" should only be awarded after at least 2 weeks to make sure that you have taken into account all the responses you may get.

It DOES help the user! Don't you think giving recognition to your discussion responders important? Must the recognition be monetized to be important? Would you be happy with one or two liners response to your discussion? If most of the members in this site do it, the discussions will be meaningless and boring. "If you have nothing better to say, it is better you say nothing" - I believe it should be the case here. But when we get a good response, we must show our appreciation. If the discussion starter with the right to do something positive but doesn't do, it is disappointing and losing a chance to further improve the myLot experience. I hope we all won't give up the privilege to tell someone "WELL DONE" although it doesn't help financially.

I prefer responding to others' discussions than starting a new one myself. I created only a few topics since joining myLot, so I don't need much time to re-read them, to rate the responses and select the best of them. I usually select a best response for my discussions.

i seldom choose best response as some sometimes they share the same thought in different approach so will rather dont choose best response to be fair. unless its very obvious that the other one is the one answerring directly to my question while the others was just commenting.

hi mike how many times do we who have been here have to tell a newbie that she really is incorrect. I told her best responses
do not pay you at all, being top discussion does not pay you\either4 and being hot discussion does not raise your earnings.She needs to
read all the information again and quit trying to tell us how to
use mylot.

I only mark best responses when it's something I am really looking for an answer to, but when it's a normal discussion I don't mark best response.

jatada nothing in the rules says that you have to. why worry about things that are just freebies. its not going to pay you anything and as for quality,you should attempt to always do quality work
for each post you make. do read on in the guidelins and th FAQ's
as the points you are belaboring are the non essential things of
mylot.

Well actually i dont really care about best response my self ^_^
Best response is usually given to the answer that suit the best with the discussion's starter. Some of my comments are choosen as best response when i commenting on some of the discussion. But still, i think there is no difference even if our comment is the best response or not.

hi jatada you are not supposed to give best resp0onse u ntil its bveen up a week, your discussion I mean. so a lot of mine have not]
got brs yet as I do wait a week and sometimes twol; you do pick some of the oddest things to worry about. again a best response does not give you one red cent. as for qualityh work if you do it just for best responses or top or hot, then you are missing the most
important part of mylotting, making friends from all over the
]world and sharing and caring about your fri ends.Quality work here should be done no matter what as part of your mylotting.
