Lean Cuisine: Lemon Chicken

One of my favorite Lean Cuisine frozen dinners has been Lemon Chicken. At first it was with white rice which was O'K, then they changed it to whole wheat orzo and while the whole wheat might be a good idea it was very mushy and therefore not so good. Then they changed it to brown which was very good and the best of the three to that point. Now they have gone to oregano white rice which is terrible. There are several reasons: the white rice is not as good for you as the brown, the oregano is so strong it over powers everything and the lemon can no longer be tasted. What they should have done was left the Lemon Chicken with the brown rice and just introduced a new product if they wanted to go to the oregano white one and called it Oregano Chicken. Please contact Lean Cuisine and ask then to bring back the good Lemon Chicken with the brown rice. Thanks.

It used to be if I ate a frozen dinner it was always Lean Cuisine. My mom would buy them when we were kids, and I bought them as an adult. Do you remember their broccoli au gratin? Oh my word it would tear your innards out. I don't eat frozen dinners anymore because it's cheaper for me to make my food from scratch. So I haven't tried the lemon chicken. The last one I bought was Chicken Enchilada Suiza.

I can no longer recommend the Lemon Chicken, as my rant says, in their new oregano while rice version. I still like Beef and Broccoli and Steak Tips Dijon. Steak Tips Dijon is one of their larger size ones, but unfortunately the only store that had it here has quit carrying it and I have had no luck in many tries and several different ways in trying to get them to stock it again.
