In March my husband has to take to a course in another part of the country. The course is from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon and he thinks that it would be boring to go there alone, so we have decided to go an mini vacation together. I am excited about the idea of a mini vacation in another part of the country. While my husband is busy with his course I am going to explore the town (Bogense) It is a beautiful little town with many old houses, a beach and a small habour. I am also going to bring my laptop and some books, because most of the time I am going to be alone, and if it is too cold to walk around outside I will spend some of the time in the hotel. If you had the chance to go on a mini vacation (2 or 3 days) in your country, which place would you choose and why? How would you spend the time there?

I would like to visit Palawan cos it has no pollution, It had interesting wild life an biodiversity. The warm sun, the beautiful beaches, delicious sea food. Those World War II shipwrecks, That Island is a paradise and I want to have a break from a polluted city and be in a tropical paradise. Another lace in my country that I want to visit is Batanes, its the last place in my country that speaks Spanish and I love speaking Spanish,Batanes is also the only place in my country with low crime rate and it has interesting centuries old rock houses.

I have read about Palawan and it sounds like an interesting place. I find it very hard to decide which islands to visit when I go on the Philippines one day in the future, because there are a lot places that sound interesting and beautiful. I didn't know that there was a place in the Philippines where they still speak Spanish. I am able to understand some Spanish because I recognize of the words from Italian, but I am not able to say a sentence in Spanish.

I read a warning about visiting some parts of Mindanao. It said that it was best to avoid some parts of Mindanao for safety reasons and I don't plan on going there unless the situation improves. I am thinking about spending a week in a the Philippines when I manage to save up the money for my second trip to Asia. On the same trip I also want to visit Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.

oh I forgot, there is also Zamboanga, that place also speaks Spanish but its near the Islamic region of the Phillippines, The last time heard about that place its safe from terrorist but at this moment I will only visit the Christian regions of my country. I will only visit the Islamic regions once the terrorist problems are over. But yeah the Catholic regions of the country are currently safe.

With my past travels, I used to explore a lot. Sleeping less, walking more...hehehe...If I was given a chance to have a 3 day vacation, I would like to relax a bit. So I would choose a place isolated from the world. So I would choose an island paradise maybe in the south of the Philippines. If I have the resources, I would choose Amanpulo or El Nido. If I don't have a budget, Calaguas island in Bicol or Sangat island in Coron will do... hehehe...

When I travel I usually do the same thing as you. I want to explore as many places as possible so I am really active from the moment I get up till the moment I go to bed. I am always active and I walk from place to place, because there are so many things that I want to see and do The next time that I travel I want to mix the activee days with some relaxing days, so I will get the chance to explore and relax at the same time. A visit to an island paradise in the Philippines sounds great. I have never been to the Philippines, but on my second trip to Asia I want to visit the Philippines as well as a couple of other countries.

I think that it is wonderful that your husband will let you come along with him on a mini vacation. I like the sound of the old houses, the beach and the small harbor in Bogense. It is good idea to take your laptop with you. You will have much time sightseeing on your own. I hope that you will have a lovely time. If I had a mini vacation I would choose to spend it in Isles of Scilly off the coast of Cornwall. That is made up of islands called St Marys, Trescoe and Briar plus a few others. It has a mild climate therefore is warmer than the southern mainland of the United Kingdom. I have always fancied going there. I would go by plane or by sea after catching a train. I would take my kids with me. Another place I am keen to go is the Isle of Man situated in the Irish Sea. I have seen photos of it and it looks gorgeous.

I look forward to visiting Bogense. I don't mind going sightseeing on my own. I hope that the snow is gone in March, otherwise it will be quite cold. I look forward to seeing the old houses. There is an old inn from 1543, that is the oldest building in the town. There are also many interesting small shops that I would like to explore. I have read a bit about the Isles of Scilly. When my husband and I visit the UK, we would like to visit Penzance and maybe the Isles of Scilly, too. We have never been to Cornwall. The Isle of Man would also be an interesting place to visit. My husband really wants to go there when we visit the UK.

Actually, I would love to take a week off, and driving to other part states on car. Because my friend is so scared to go to other countries, I would decided to take a minivacation with domestic states. I might thought about Texas, and California during the summer time. Not thing exactly sure, but I hope that I can save enough money by then.

I would love to visit California It is one of the places that I want to visit when I go to the US. Texas could be interesting, too, but I live in Europe and I don't think that I will be able to visit the US in the near future. At the moment I concentrate on visiting places in my own country like that mini vacation in Bogense. I think that will be fun, too. I hope that you will manage to save up the money for your trip.
