Yes finally after 3 weeks of waiting we finally got the answers that me and my husband have been waiting for. So its official I really didn't have a miscarriage in December. What happened was well everyone's calculations was off on how far along I was really was. Instead of me being a few weeks its more like a few days to a week. Which if you have been pregnant before or are pregnant you know that a baby doesn't have a heart beat till about 6 to 8 weeks into a pregnancy. So the two times I went in for an ultrasound there was nothing to see since well the baby was so tiny at the time and hiding. So when we went to the doctor yesterday to see the little one for the first time. Well the internal Doppler didn't even make it in all the way yet when well what do you know there is a baby. We got to hear his/her little heart beat and see it which was so nice after being told not once but twice that I had a miscarriage. So as of today I'm 8 weeks and 2 day's pregnant with my second child. This means our daughter is going to be having a roommate this up coming September.

Mystery solved! And it even makes sense to me. So the Baby's heartbeat doesn't happen until you are 2 months in? Good to know. So Little One was Tiny one with the ultra sounds. Ok. Now if this baby loves to play hide and sek we will All know why, lol! I'm so happy for you sis. A September baby, either a Virgo or a Libra.Fantastic . And there shouldn't be any snow! So Joe can get you to the hospital safely! Wow. Now to know the gender! How long does that take?

Normally yes you have to be 6 to 8 weeks when the doctor will be able to see a heart beat and most likely to hear a heart beat as well. Before then they are tine ball of cells that can be hard to find. Knowing us we will have a baby in August. We didn't worry about snow with Sugar any ways since I was induced and there was snow that day for sure. It can still snow in September its just a little bit less likely. WE will find out the gender in about 8 to 12 weeks. When I'm 16 to 20 weeks. Normally you can't tell the what the gender is till mid second trimester in the 20's but some time around 12 weeks you can depending on the size of the baby and the way they are laying inside. Most doctors wait till 16 weeks or after.

Your welcome. Every doctor is different so they do different things at different times through at pregnancy but the main stuff is almost the same every where.

Well I don't like tea but I will make sure that when little one is done sleeping my is relaxing if not taking a nap. I get lots of naps on the weekend cause hubby is off on the weekend so that helps a lot.

Thanks. I'm doing everything by the book like last time. I really hope that I don't have another preemie baby on my hands like my daughter. But for her being a preemie and being born 5 weeks early she was every healthy and I hope the same for my second baby. My plan is to make to 36 weeks or longer. I got another 3 weeks till my next visit and I'm so excited to go back again. Weather its for an ultra sound or just to hear the baby's heart beat its always exciting to go. We are taking our daughter to all of the visits. I want to be a part of this as much as possible up till the deliver.

YAY! I'm so happy for you! What a scare you went through, but it turned out good. How old is your daughter? Little girls make wonderful big sisters! I loved being pregnant and feeling, and watching the baby move. At 8 months though, I could use my belly as a table when I sat in the living room to watch TV. Babies are soooooo sweet!
