i was out for quite some time to study overseas... before i left my roomie then he told me he'll wait for me.. he's not gonna touch my things and he's not gonna look for another roomie to share with the appartment bills, etc.. we're sharing 1 flat with 2 rooms - one for me and one for him.. sometimes we share one bed when someone is bored or having an aching back or anything.....he was so lonely while i'm away and now that i'm back he's enjoying my company and seem like heaven for him.. i am also enjoying his company but i will surely miss him again when i go back and continue my studies overseas... how much do you like the company of your roomie?

I used to share a room with my brother and it was excellent we used to hang out, watch videos and play the xbox. I live with my girlfriend now which is good but not the same.

I know that some peope may have a proble with they roomie or rommies, expecially when living together were not their decision. I am so happy that I may say I love company of my roomie because it is my loved girlfriend. I couldnt imagine better rommie than she is. And I am very happy that she is shareing a room with me. Actually, for me It was a best decision to move to her room. We are living in students dormitory so it was not so big problem for us.

lol that is exempted.. okay, that is bad because, you know, pardom me but being with a live-in patner is not good especially that you're still students! lol

I dont see it like bad decision. Everything depents from the nature of people and your age. I feel like no problem for my living with my partner. Some people have a problem with it, some even got sick of it, but it is not my case. :-)

Hi zills: I have the good luck of living with my parents while I was in college so I haven't to deal with living with a room mate. However, some years ago, I shared an apartment with a friend. I try to contribute with peace in the site. I work almost everyday so we have little discussions and when I was free we have done some activities together so I was just open to understand a person that might be different and I enjoyed this experience. nice response again here, alvaro.. yep that is what i was telling, the connection that is being involved with a roommie is the most important thing. connection in a sense, you both want a single thing, you both are eager to discover new things, you both want to have an activity done at your disposals and so on and so forth. sometimes we play football games and sometimes we go outside for a horse riding, too. sometimes we have a carrera using our cars.

i do not enjoy the company of a roommate i have always been a loner and have felt like i need my space ninty percent of the time i do best on my own i do have friends and i do enjoy the company of others but not all the time there is not really any people that i would trust enough to live with to me when you live with someone you have to be at least sort of close to them and i am not comfortable being close to people it gives them too much of a chance to hurt me and me too much of a chance to hurt them the only company of roommates i enjoy is that of my animals

I do enjoy the company of my roommate. I am actually missing them already since I have been away for years with them. Some have shifted to a different flat already when they got married. Hopefully I will be able to still see them again. It is hard if you get used to be with the same roommates and they suddenly leave you.

you were talking perhaps during your school days. well, that is normal. i studied on my own here and was being separated with my parents at the age of 15 so i really enjoy the company of other people other than my family or any one from a distant relation if i found one, here.

Hi there, nope I was talking about my working years. I have worked in another country and I have to stay with other people whom I eventually became friends with.

My roommate is really great. We are like brothers because we have common interests. We play the same sports and video games. We are also both medical students so most of the time we study together and review each other when exam are about to come. He is probably my best roommate and the most intelligent.

I do not have a room mate. Well yes, if you consider a dog as a room mate haha. When I was in the university, my friends ask me to stay in a dormitory instead since I am consuming about two hours of travel time from our house to the school. However, I am not comfortable having a room mate. Sleep overs are good but if it is a longterm room mate, I might not be able to enjoy my stay.

Honestly, I don't like to have roommate. My roommate was only my sister. I don't like it, I want huge and wide bed, coz I sleep like a tornado. Pfff. I think I need to get used to it, as when i get married to need to live with it, to have a roommate, hmm my hubby :P
