The bp is something to watch but for this one not to really worry take in consideration where and when and what you were doing .. The top number on a blood pressure tells how the blood is going in and the bottom going out ...Most doctors get concern more of the top number that is where the problem is the bottom number is to be concern about but I would have it check out and make be check it for a wk you will need to do this at the same time everyday to get an accurate reading..best time is in the morning when you frist wake up that is usually the one that is going to tell what is going on .... Good Luck

When you got this BP reading were you at home taking your blood pressure yourself? What were you doing before you took your blood pressure? Are you under a lot of stress? Was this a one time thing it being so high?

See your doctor. Usually they recommend losing weight, cutting down on salt, easing stress, and increasing fruits and vegetables, especially dark colored berries and grapes, because they have plant products that lower blood pressure.
