It's Valentine's Day... did you ever bother to celebrate it?

It's out of my mind... an my husband too... and I think everyone else in our car. Just when we are to enter a secured gate inside the freeport area, the Officer on duty greet us to our surprise a Happy Valentine's Day... And we all just say, Oh okay... thank and Happy Valentine's Day too... And now everybody just realized that it is Hearts Day. What is your experience today, on a Valentine morning?

Well, I didn't really have a romantic plan for my girlfriend, but it did work out this time. I remember I posted something about Valentine's day several years ago and how bad it went for us, I'm sure this year was so much better. I always like to think that love should be shown all year long especially with your partner/girlfriend/boyfriend, so I am not so fond of spending more than usual for a little extra romantic touch just for one day, except on anniversaries.

Hi choybel... you are right, everyday should be especial to both of your partner and not to spend it only for a day. As long as you always express your love to her and be faithful to each other, I guess that would be a long and lasting gift. Goodluck and hoping for a good future for you and your girlfriend.

it was a funny argument between me and my boyfriend it ended up he broke up with me because i was hanging out a lot with friends, he was also jealous of guys who post comments on my facebook. He seems so jealous for he's working abroad.. anyway, we're chatting at skype now and we're fine.. happy heart day to you

I am really glad that everything is fine now with your boyfriend. It is really hard to maintain a stable relationship when you are distant away. The good thing is that there are many available forms of communications that you could use and it is a great help to maintain understanding with each other. Just continue to trust each other and hopefully you can visit him or work too in the country he is working too. Maybe that would do good for both of you. Goodluck and Happy Hearts Day too!

i remember valentine's day before when i was in a new relationship... but then when things go sour.. i feel like that the day is just for commercial stuffs. we all have 365 days to say we love the person and why only choose to show our love in one day?

Oh, actually, my husband is not the show type person. He is more of expressive, he kept his silence and would rather let me feel his presence everytime I needed him. Maybe he just wants valentines to be everyday too, like what you said. We would rather spend the day with our 2 daughters, to let them feel that they are the product of love and will always be precious to both of us.

My fiance and I celebrated last night. I received the usual candy (my favorite dark chocolate) and a dozen roses. But not the kind that wilts, my dozen roses were in the form of a red rose and gold bracelet! Oh and besides a box of my favorite tea was a beautiful Valentine's card from the man that makes my heart sing every day.

i simply greeted my partner with a passionate kiss. it is not really something very special, but i can make it special tonight. i plan to give her something special. of course, it is a surprise. but somehow, girls expect something from their partners on this day.

I guess its the thought that count. Yes, it would be a thrill if we receive something but it doesn't mean to be expensive. We just want to know that guys still bother to think what would make us happy. Goodluck and hopefully your partner would be another woman who would be happy on Valentine's Day!

Any holiday that I don't get a paid day off of work for, well, is no holiday to me! LOL. I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, as I am doing nothing right now and likely will be doing nothing later tonight, but I also don't have a boyfriend this year, either, to spend it with. It's kind of a commercial holiday anyway....

Nothing special this morning, I had a breakfast with my family. I think , like many others I got a fancy feeling of Valentine's Day so later this afternoon I will surprise my husband and my son of CHOCOLATES... :) Simple as it is but the celebration with them is memorable...And that's what I like... Happy Valentines everyone!

Even if it is simple, I think your family would love it. The most important thing is we are with them and our family is keeping strong and the love is growing. Happy Valentine's DAy and I know it will be a lovely night for you and your family with the chocolates making it a special night.

Na, I don't bother with it, it's just a kids thing, you know the cute little valentimes cards and the candy and chocolate, all that junk. I remember having class parties when I was a kid and I'm making sugar cookies with a cinnamon heart in the middle for each kid's classes but that's just about it. There's no decorations or gifts here at home.

Yes like my daughters did a valentine decors for their rooms and they ask me to print some valentine cards for their friends. The vicinity of their school are full of street vendors selling flowers, little stuff toys and heart balloons, things that could afford by the students. I was surprise though that one lady classmate of my 3rd year HS daughter receive a boquet of roses from his 4th year boyfriend. At their age they could afford to have it delivered in her classroom. Maybe I would rather want to receive a basket of fruits or even vegetables. Maybe that would be better for my age rather than a bouquet of flowers. Just a thought... life has been so hard, time to be more practical. What matters most, is when partners are still in-love with each other and continue being together inspite of the difficulties in life. Happy Valentine's Day!

Goodluck on the concert! Maybe we will just spend the night at our home, the usual. I think my daughter have a dental appointment this afternoon and that's our date... at the dentist, lol... I cannot even think of watching a movie together even if it is only at home, the kids needs my guidance... it is already examination period. While the kids have a very tight schedule, me and my husband has also a very tight schedule for the kids always need us... Happy Valentine's Day!

I got up and I'm watching the replay of the dog show. I told my guy I don't want to celebrate Valentine's Day. Why? I was sick and tired of all the pressure to get gifts I wouldn't like , like Flowers or candy or jewelry! So later on I will celebrate by seeing The St valentine;s Day Massacre. This is more my speed.

Not really. How I spent my Valentine's Day, driving my mobility scooter to the vet to take a sick kitten. Then drive kitten back home again. Then take valentines day pics of my dogs with plastic roses for a valentines day photo competition, which turned out that I was too late to enter anyway. lol

I do. And I am sure for the people who has bf/gf/wife/husband, well whomever they want to celebrate it. My friends invited me to go to disco house, but I insist of staying at home with my family and boyfriend.
