So you're a Whitney Houston fan... really?

since her death everyone seems to have come out of the woodwork claiming that they're a Whitney Houston fan. That leaves me scratching my head. I think everyone forgot about her and wrote her off as someone who's already washed up. My friend laughed when they found out I had Whitney Houston songs in my playlist and then I hear them say they're fans. Why'd they laugh in the first place when they heard me singing along to "The greatest love of all" when she was alive? So tell me, are you really a fan or are you just saying you are now that she's dead?

Wasn't then, ain't know. I like music, but it is difficult to say I am a fan of any said group. I love the songs of a variety of artists and genres, but never paid much attention to who sang what.

I used to listen to her music until she stole Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You. I loved Dolly's rendition and disliked Whitney for what i felt was stealing it from her. No, I am not a fan. I feel badly for her passing but that is all.

I have enjoyed her songs for many years but I can't say I am her fan. It doesn't make any difference to me how she went and what she did during her life. I also like other songs but just the songs not the singers. Many people adore singers and get crazy about them.

I won't consider myself a fan but I love some of her songs. I used to sing some of her songs in karaoke Well, claiming that they are fans or friends is nothing new to me. A lot of people will want to be interviewed or something for a little fame.
