It's very pity that I didn't get any gift from my husband, he is careless to send me roses. For woman,it is very happy to receive gift from husband, especially in the special day, though we married for several years. Someone said life is normal, however I think romance also necessary, it is condiment for life. Do you think is it important to have gift at the special day? and what gift did you get from your lover? I have some upset, because nothing to have. Is it stands my husband isn't enough to love me? or maybe he thought it wasn't necessary to spend money for roses? Your comments will be appreciated!

Well i think its important to give something on valentines day to the one you love in your life. I dont think he needs to spend money on roses i dont even want flowers and never will want them because i do have really bad allergies and sneeze alot so i dont need them at all. I did get a card and some candy and he could have done that at least for you. Cards dont have to be alot of money so you should have at least gotten a card saying he loves you and what not. It is special to have a gift on that day because its a lovers day and everyone in a relationship should get something.

I honestly have to say that I really don't think that gifts are necessary for Valentine's Day, but they are very nice to get. With that said, my husband and I decided at Christmas that we would pick out something that we wanted when it came to Valentine's Day because our financial picture is better now than it was at Christmas. So, I got myself a new phone that I've been wanting as my Valentine's Day gift.

Hi bettydeng5, I never expected a gift from my wife. I too didn't bought anything for her. But one thing I can say is we had a nice outing. We shared the peace and love. I had a nice and wonderful moment. It is more than a gift right? I hope nothing more than a time spent with your partner. Roses and gifts are good but it fades... I hope the feel has not faded. Nice Topic picked up. Cheers... Have a great day.

Hi phillip, thank you for your response. Yes, I agree with you completely, gifts and roses will fade, but the feeling won't fade if love exsits. I understand now. I didn't send any gift to him too, and only say happy valentine's day.Have a great day!

what gift I want to get for Valentine's Day gift for me no matter it is important to respect and to this day we are together to be with me and show affection. but who does not want to gift if I did not want to lie but certainly do not know. already passed since Valentine's Day I can say that I received a huge bouquet of flowers, a teddy bear and an evening spent in the company of a beloved man. This day is wonderful but I hope men and women and just love to hopefully show our love always. interesting discussion. nice day!

I didn't get nothing. Romance its very important but not everyone its romantic. The worst part its that if your husband isn't you can not change it.

yes, loonys, I think romantic is full of life, we need it. However, lover isn't romance, we can't change it, only change own attitude.

We didn't exchange anything for Valentine's day. I drew my boyfriend a valentine with the kid I work with. he bought me dinner after we got family photos done with my parents and my brother. We aren't big on getting each other presents or things like that for Valentine's day. We know we love each other and don't need a ay to tell or show each other that.
