People who send me info on heart disease.

Are they nuts? Info on how to keep from having a heart attack? My Drs. have told me that unless there is a miracle, I'm dying from either the cancer or the chemo since chemo isn't meant to be taken for years on end. They want me to prevent myself from having a heart attack. My Dad dropped dead of a heart attack and that was humane. My Mom fought cancer for 20 years, she was a skeletin with a basketball-sized tumor sticking out of her. The last two weeks, I prayed her heart would quit. The blasted thing wouldn't stop. I think Drs. are nuts. Everyone dies sooner or later. Why are they scaring people? Are they trying to scare them to death? What is better than dropping dead of a heart attack? I think people's hearts quitting is a good way to go. Sure beats some of the other ways that I've seen. But at least once a week, someone has to have a heart attack prevention thing in my email box. What part of dropping dead sounds like a better deal to me don't they get? Reminds me, DDR means do not resussitate. If I get worse instead of better, I will have to have one of those made. If anyone else on here has a terminal illness, you may want to consider having one written. Right now, I'm still hoping for a miracle. Barring a miracle, I will have one written. Sorry about the rant, but how many times do I have to tell people not to send me this crap? Right now, my current status is still, 2 inch tumor in middle of right lung has deflated (ironic, huh?) and the one on the left side of my abdomin shrunk. Those are my test results as of last week. So the chemo is shrinking it. So a miracle is still possible. I told the Dr. that some of my praying friends thought it thought it was half gone and some of my praying friends thought it was all gone. He said it was more than half, but less than all. It's inbetween. So more than half is encouraging.

The way I look at things is quality of life. No matter what is wrong with me, I want life to continue as long as I can have good quality. Both Hubby and I have DDR on file. But I also know that new treatments come along all the time and am in no hurry to leave life. I know so many with Heart problems that have had these fixed and are now enjoying good quality of life. Likewise cancer that can be controlled can also not interfer with life. I do however agree that a big heart attack is a good way to go.

I think for me to have a good quality of life, I'm going to have to be the woman in the bubble like the movie the Boy in the Bubble. It seems like I get everything that comes along. Now I have diarhea. It's going around and I subbed at school this past week.

Somehow, you've ended up on one or more lists for these sorts of emails. I'd say block the senders and continue on. You have more important things to focus on than being bombarded with emails that serve only to annoy. It is encouraging that the chemo has shrunk the tumor that much. People do come through these things.

I'm not on a list, these are my friends forwarding heart attack crap to a person with cancer. Just doesn't dawn on them that it's stupid to do so. Yes, I was elated that I have deflated and shrinking tumors. Now I have diarhea. So I'm a little down and grumpy.

Now I'm wondering if it was the children or one of my cats. He has the same problem that I do. I could think of some really "helpful" pairings. How to become a Muslim to the Born Again Christians. Why Elderly people shouldn't raise their Grandkids to Elderly people who are raising Grandkids. I think I'll just skip that because sometimes knowing what would really bug people and sending it to them might not work out too well. If you don't sub K-1, you will stay healthier.

I can see why you would be so irritated with the emails. I would be too. Half is encouraging and I am hoping that your next set of results will be even better than that.

I hope it continues to be encouraging. Right now I'm kind of ill. I subbed at school 2 half days and now I have diarhea. Gesh! Seems like every time I sub, I get sick.
