i have found the reason why my ear and jaw hurts on the same side! turns out if your on the computer most the time and hardly leave and your eyes get itchy during on the computer you get dry eyes then when you itch your eyes you can scratch it and if left scratched and dry eyes your eye can leak som fluid into the nasal area (the reason you have to blow your nose when you cry) tears go into the nasal area and by the nasal area in the back is something called the middle ear muscle(larger word but dont wanna go look it up again) and when the leaked eye fluid goes in there it goes into either ear canal while your sleeping dpending on which side you sleep on me i sleep on my right side so it leaked into my right ear. i been thinkin this whole time that it was an ear infection but turns out i dont need the doctor or anything within 4 days it will be back to normal i just need eye drops and more water in my system :D this whle time i thought i ha a bug or something but then i read that these people had the same symptoms and figured it out after 3 years lol til one girl found it out :D im saved

juggal0Xx420 well congrats on figuring this out. I think we all have to watch how long we spend on the computer and how we sit, etc. It's sooooo easy to get caught up in something and completely not notice any discomforts until later...

yeah i know i've had this going on for a few days and didnt know what it was at first i thought it was a bug in my ear or water but it turned out that being on the computer for hours can cause this. haha what wonderful surprises a computer has for us all when we thought that we couldn't get sick in any type of way from being on the computer haha

I have to say my neck and shoulders always hurt from me sitting at the computer.I get all stiff from sitting in the same position for hours. My eyes also burn after awhile from staring at the monitor, and I usually get a head ache.Thats why it's good to take a break from sitting there.

Java09 ..I think many of us can relate..we start to concentrate and get so interested in the computer we forget to take breaks..them when we notice the time we spent we are shocked...I have thought of setting a timer..

Yeah, the time does fly using the internet, that's why I'm in pain.We need a timer that buzzes or something.I can't rely at looking at the clock.I just ignore and then realixe alot of time flew by.LOL

yeah we all tend to sit at a computer monitor for hours without realizing it maybe someone should make a computer app with a timer on it? so that way we can set it and when it goes off take a break set the timer for like 45 minutes for the break and go back to it afterwards?
