left work early...

it's not often that i'm given the opportunity to leave early, but i definitly didn't pass it up! now that the house is a lot quieter with 3 people gone, i really jumped on the opportunity. it feels great to come home and not have to do anything for a while. i get to cook dinner, which i'll start in another hour. i still have a long list of things to do, but with today being a holiday, everyone's closed. oh well! i get to relax. :)

Well, there are many times when it just feels good to know no one else is around so you can just sit there and relax. Being on the computer many times posting here on myLot is a great thing as well. But knowing you are the only one you have to answer too and being able to cook something you know you enjoy, and just spend some quiet time is something really good. I know I enjoy these times for sure.

Well,it's been a great thing to do if you can left work early.How i wish i could get home earlier than before and i can do more relax and talk to my friends.Maybe all people like that after work.lol,thanks for sharing this topic and hopefully happy mylotting here.Cheers!

I love being able to get off work early! Like you, it doesn't happen very often for me unless business starts really slowing down and my boss will cover the store for the rest of the day. That's not very often though. Maybe once every 2-3 weeks. But I take it when I can get it! I love being able to have the rest of the day ahead of you...Anyway, enjoy your day!

Enjoy it! We have so few opportunities to really relax when we have to work full-time and take care of our families and ourselves. That's one of the reasons I leaped into being a homemaker when my husband generously offered to let me stop working, and I've been very content with the change overall.

same here i been up most of the night and all morning and now its 3:32 in the noon and i am not tired yet so im still posting but about to be done here soon and get some rest(: hope you enjoy your day off too.
