hi guys..i'm just curious since i have noticed it a long time ago.. i've observed that when one topic got so many responses, after a day or even few hours, someone will publish a discussion which has the same topic as before..and they only write it differently.. how often often have you noticed it? do you do that sometimes? and often do you like responding to topics that are just a copy cat.. i consider those who are really innocent that they don't know that a topic like what they publish is just the same with the previous topics..but previous topics is dayZZZ, weekZZZZ, monthZZZ or even yearZZZ ago..that no one in mylot is reponding to it anymore..

There are topics that new comers all post either with how do you make money here or how much can you make and there really kind of both the same in just different wording and everyday you see this on here. I dont respond to them only because they are going to be deleted since everyday they are being asked and its going to be a waste of my time and i dont need to waste my time at all on here since i would like to make the payout. Pointless on my end of the table.

I have only started discussions that apply to what is happening in my life, or what has happened to people that I am very close to.I do think that there are people that start a discussion not seeing that another person has started it already.I feel that there are loads of old discussions that are really good as in a few years old and I do respond to those as well.

Maybe some newbies did post almost same topic unknowingly as you've stated innocently. But for those who just re-write the topic, the possibility that it could be deleted is there esp when someone will report it. I always starts a topic that comes in my mind and most of my topic is real event that happens or I've encountered.

I believe that the rules of Mylot, prohibit this type of "tactical", or to copy other people's threads and recreate them, maybe just changing a few words. You are absolutely right anyway, because very often I find myself in front of a discussion that is a topic that I have already commented. Then perhaps after a few days, meeting more or less the same discussion, however, published by a different user. I often wonder if it is the engine that Mylot proposes to me, but then I realize that instead, as I said before, the author is someone else! I will not say any more, folks, but at least a little imagination!

kaeirole: I always start discussions based on whatever idea comes to my mind before reading mylot discussions. It is true many discussions resemble each other. But the way they are presented may be different and responders will be different. Whatever said depending on time zone difference responders also change. I avoid duplication of topics knowingly fully well that it may be deleted.

I think sometimes it's just that we all have similar experiences so there were topics that might have been the same with the previous ones. But with regards to what you first said... yes I have noticed that after a few hours, one will start a conversation about the very same topic, aside from topics about celebrities or national news. Such kind of discussion will soon be deleted.

hi kaeirole but some are not copy cats, just because one writes a discussion about a certain teacher does not mean that if I write a discussion about how some people think teachers have it too easy being off for a few months I am copying her or anyone else. . She is writing about how a certain teacher helped her to find out what she wanted to be. I was writing about how some people think that teachers have too easy a job. These are two different topics hers is a certain teacher mine is about jealousy of some towards teachers having so much time off.Not the same discussion at all.
