Hi dear mylotters, i am now back to school..again, and its a wonderful feeling yet mix emotion of how do i interact again in school. how i can handle some homeworks, the younger one and to the professors. But the feeling of learning new things again and educate my self more is like a feeling of seeking new experience and new knowledge. Even though its not an ordinary or typical class in school, because i only take a short course and its like a training school. But still after a few days been in school, i enjoyed it..

That is wonderful! Good for you for doing something to better yourself. I miss being in college. Although I never liked a set schedule, I loved learning the things I took in my classes. What are you studying right now? I'm sure you're showing all the younger students who the smart one really is! (You!)

I can only imagine the rather surreal feeling that is going back to school after being gone for a long time. Of course, perhaps one day, I may return but after getting my graduate degree, I was kind of burned out with the entire educational process. It just really was something that I needed a bit of a break with to say the very least. Of course, we are always learning even if we aren't in school. So going back to school actually is not going to be something that is going to be too much of a step. Even if that first step might seem to be a rather doozy more often than not. It does take some time to get back into the swing of things but when we do(some of us longer than others I'd imagine), it is back to the races.

When i was in college before i was also burned out of lots of homeworks, test, recitation, projects, including some terror professor and annoying classmate, but during those times are also my happiest day of my youth. In school, I gained also lot of knowledge, but also as we experienced we gained also knowledge and learning new things in life. I guess we just not stop to educate more our self. And learning is a long way of process.

I'm so happy for you. I'm glad that you are enjoying your schooling. I too will be in a similar boat as you. It's been six years since I've been out of school. It's crazy how time flys by. I'm hoping that in the fall I will be able to start taking classes. I would like to get started, focus and get it done. Since it's already been so long. But I've got to save up since gas is going to be so high and I've got to travel about an hour and 15 minutes to do lab work once a week.

I commend you for going back to school. I am also doing an online graduate school program and will finish my Masters in April then I will go on and get a second Masters in Special Education. With the economy being in a bad state right now I figure that the more educated I am the better my chances of getting a job. I am glad that you are learning a new skill and that it will help you find work.

Its nice that you are now back in school. Your lucky enough because there are so many who wants to study again yet its impossible because of financial constraints and lack of time. I know that its a little awkward mingling with younger people today but I'm pretty sure that some of them are interested in knowing you. I hope that you find time talking to your younger classmates. Some of them are hungry for information about life after college. Hope that you enjoy every moment of it. Indeed, there's no limit for education. Only a fool wil say that its too late for an old man to be educated at school.

I guess when me get little older, we are seeking more knowledge and more learning, as we go on in our life. Its true that some are not prioritize and abandoned their school not because their are no money to go to school but sometimes they don't like to learn and thought they can learn through their go on on their lives, but they did not realize the first step and major learning is in school. And for some dont have enough money to go to school, it really saddened that the opportunity to learn for them may just diminished. But also learning new thing may finds everywhere as long as we like to learn and willing to go there to achieve their dreams.

No worries. You will do just fine since you are enthusiastic about learning. Each class is unique. So every student is having many fears and questions just like you. It does not matter how old they are. Once you meet them, you will find out how shy they are in the class.

Thanks divine, yeah! i guess i am just fine, the more important are, the learning new things and experiencing another things aside from the previous one. And its true that in in learning new things and gaining a knowledge the age is not more important, as long we eager to get that. I remember one of my classmate that when she needs to recite something she cannot open her mouth because of her shines.
