I just wonder how some people know that they are relly snoring when they are even asleep when snoring. I myself am not even aware if i really do snore when i'm sleep but so far no no one has ever told me that i do. I think i also do snore a little when i really feel tired because its quite usual for people to snore especially when they are stressed a what i have heard from other people. I have also heard that some people do complain a lot about their partners snoring aloud but there are also some who don't mind it becase they aleady got used to it. But for me it really doesn't bother me becase i could still sleep well especially when i really feel tired and sleepy. How about you? Are you also aware of yourself snoring or do you also snore when you are asleep? Does your partner also snore and does it bother you? Thanks for sharing guys.

Well if I am awake to hear myself snoring then technically speaking I don't think that I would be a sleep. Of course, I never snore. :) Which likely means that I do, as everyone who says they don't snore, are going to. But obviously I've never heard myself doing it. I have been asleep at the time and perhaps when I stopped snoring, it was about time for me to get up out of bed. At least that is the way things do seem. Of course, there have been many cases where people have snored so loud that they wake themselves up. Don't think it ever has happened to me, but you really do never know anymore. I know that it has happened to others and they accuse other noises or people of waking them up. When the truth might be a bit closer to home. But naturally that is just going to be a bit of speculation right on my part. Just a thought I had.

I have been told in the past that I snore a little bit, and if my daughter spends the night with me, she pokes me and tells me to turn over cause I'm snoring. It makes me mad when she does that to me cause I'll be really sleeping well. But I actually have woke up and heard myself stopping snoring. So I have no doubt that I do it. I don't annoy anyone nowadays, cause I'm single and no one lives with me. So I can snore up a storm and nobody cares. Not even me!

We can't hear us snoring. Someone you sleep with usually hears you snore. I think when you are too tired, you will snore when you sleep. Some people snore aloud, while others don't.

I don't snore and I've never heard myself snore before. I have heard other people snore and tired to ignore it.

My family would say yes. :D They say when I'm too tired, I often snore while sleeping. While I never hear myself snoring. Lol. And yes, I've heard my ex snoring while sleeping too. That was when I woke up, and happened to hear him snoring. He got a flu that time, so I think it's because of his flu. :)

Hello Dear Cyclopz! First of all Warm welcome to Mylot! Now coming to your discussion, I really fail to understand how can any one hear one's own snoring! If some body is snoring means he/she is in deep sleep and I never ever heard any one hearing anything when in deep sleep and so is with the snoring too! So I never heard my own snoring so far! Yes my wife some times says that I snore! It seems the snoring is there in our family a my wife and son also snore! Since I can't say for sure myself if I snore or not as have never heard myself snoring , I can't tell for sure that I too do snore! LOL! By the way, have you ever heard your own snoring ? Please respond! Thanks for the discussion!

I normally don't know that I'm snoring. I don't think I snore often except when I'm sick I do. My husband says I do. He snores pretty loud depending which way he is laying. If he's snoring I just push him and he rolls over and it usually stops. If I'm tired enough I don't hear him snoring either.

My husband would say I snore. But not all the time, it is just sometime when I am really stressed from work or I am having an asthma attack. Sometime I would notice that I did snore when I just woke up in a surprise that I was about to be losing out of breath.

I have loudest snore when i sleep, lol! That is according to my wife, who also snores but to a mild degree as compared to mine. The fact that after a hard day's work, breathing is deep when we sleep and the passage of air can sometimes be obstructed causing sound which is snoring.

Never. I think people who snore don,t know that they snore. In fact they would fight you to the end if you tell them that they snore.

I have never heard myself snore. My husband says I snore very lightly so it doesn't bother him. However, my husband snores extremely loud. If he falls asleep before me I have trouble sleeping because he is so loud. If I fall asleep first his snoring doesn't bother me. I don't hear him when I'm sleeping but I cannot get to sleep with his loud snoring.

I snore. It's kind of getting me frustrated already. But it's not my snoring per se that I get frustrated with. It's just that I think I cause inconvenience to people who's in the same room as I am. There are times I actually get roused by my own snoring. There's even one funny incident inside a bus that I could remember, but I am not going to expound on it as it is embarrassing. But it was funny, I can assure you, so I would just let your imagination do the rest. The thing is, it is something I can't help, well, because obviously, I'm asleep. I checked online for treatments, and even consulted a doctor but then she said that snoring can be a caused by a lot of factors, and it can only be found by undergoing sleep therapy, which costs a lot. She also mentioned that contrary to what a lot of people think, one cannot deduce right away that snoring is due to a heart condition. Sometimes, it is just the tongue obstructing the air passage that causes the snoring. I pile up my pillows at night just to makes sure I lessen the snoring.

I'm never aware of my own snoring and don't know of anyone that does hear themselves snore. I definitely know I snore, my other half reminds me on a regular basis that I am quite a loud and annoying snorer, but that makes two of us so he can just put up!

What the heck! How could they even hear their snoring when they are asleep? Are there persons like that? Not possible in my opinion. Anyway, I do know that I also snore whenever I sleep. I even do some sleep talk. But the only way I have known it is when another person tells me so. But I really can't tell that I am snoring when I am asleep. Yes, like you, I do also snore a lot when I am too tired from an activity or work. But there some persons who are really just plain snorers. They snore loudly that it will surely make you complain about it!
