Concerts are expensive

I was thinking about surprising my husband and taking him to a concert this coming summer. I was kind of hoping to plan it as a little weekend getaway. With a concert of one of his favorite bands. As I was looking up hotel deals and concert prices it's crazy how expensive it is. To have just decent seats it's over a hundred per person. So I'm hoping that I can figure some things out. As I will also have to pay for other activities I wanted to plan. And I can hint to him anything about help with money as he's the type of person who will try to guess things and figure it out. It's frustrating how fast things can add up just for a weekend away. That's probably why we don't leave town very often.

That is expensive. Which band are we talking about here? I go to 4-5 concerts a year and it's never that much. Usually it's somewhere between 40 and 60 euros (which is about 50 and 80 dollars). The only time it's that expensive is when it's a festival but then there are performances of a lot of bands.

I notice it too that concerts are really quite expensive plus the other expenses that you might have before and after the concerts.I guess the general admission is just the one which is quite affordable but really far from the stage and just the see the performers at the wide screen.

Yeah it is all really sad. I wish something would give. It's kind of hard to enjoy life with things costing so much. The gas prices are going up and forms of entertainment is getting very costly as well. I'm hoping that I will be able to pull this off. I'm not for sure because I don't know if it will sell out or if the seats that are left will be worth going for. But I'm at least going to try because I know my husband would love to do something like this.

We can't really do anything about it but concerts are really expensive because first of all we must consider the talent fee of the celebrity itself. The participants, marketing staff, coordinators, security and other employees including the venue itself. We have plans to watch Cranberries here but then we still have this second thought if we are going to watch it or not.

Yeah free concerts are great. I wish there were more free concerts. It seems like over time the free concerts are starting to disappear. I'm glad that we don't go very often because they are pricey. For the most part i would rather stay at a nice cabin or something for the price of these tickets. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
