Finally, King Kenny bring back glory for Liverpool after beaten Cardiff city from penalty drama. They has ball possession but Cardiff shown great Performance and able to lead with mosson goal at first half, before finally skretel succeed to rebound suarez goal attempts as second half, 1-1 and continue to extra time. Kuyt!! He was really super subs after replaced Carroll and score reds second goal 2-1, but cardiff still able to force match to penalty shots,2-2.. Gerrard and Adam have failed to score in first two penalty, but downing, kuyt and Johnson scored while cardiff only scores two penalty with last penalty takers Gerrard failed as well, so two gerrard names unlucky tonight.. What do you think about liverpool performance tonight? Cardiff: Heaton; McNaughton (Blake 106'), Hudson (A.Gerrard 98'), Turner, Taylor; Cowie, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Gestede, Mason (Kiss 90'); Miller. Liverpool: Reina; Johnson, Skrtel, Agger (Carragher 87'), Jose Enrique; Henderson (Bellamy 57'), Gerrard, Adam, Downing; Suarez, Carroll (Kuyt 103')

There is no doubting that there is more intensity about Liverpool as a team since King Kenny has come back. And this title is a good thing for their come back into the top flight of English football. But this is still a story in progress. I think they still need a lot of re-enforcements to fight for the EPL title. The current team is more suited for Cup Titles and not for League Titles. Cheers! It being a final, performance on the field is always close. Cardiff fought well and almost won it. Liverpool with their star casts, was disappointing and they were lucky to win. It shows that there is still a lot to do for Dalglish to really make Liverpool a force capable of challenging for honors on a regular basis. The yardstick for an EPL team to be successful is always a place in the Champions League. Liverpool is now 7 points adrift of the 4th spot albeit with a game in hand. I hope the Carling Cup won will make their performance be more consistent especially when playing supposedly weaker teams. But I really can't see them overhauling Arsenal and Chelsea to wrest the 4th spot from them.
