Your boss always think about himself...

Sometimes I wonder why there are bosses will always think about themselves only. They just do not bother to think about your problems. But when there things that have some connection with them, their decisions are totally unfair. For example, all these while, it is very difficult to get a release from duty without taking a leave but when his wife is the situation, he just release her without taking any leave. You see, we have a very limited leave and for his wife's case, she already save one day of her leave allocation. What is you opinion on this matter?

There are bosses that are really self centered. Just like my boss before he is arrogant that he does not want to pay his employees but then look at what happened the company just failed.

Not all bosses behave like that. I know some bosses who are very thoughtful and considerate. There are still others who are even worse than your boss.

A lot of managers seem to only be thinking about themselves, but I think that a lot of human beings are born to be selfish in general. Do you ever stop to think about how he is feeling about everything, or what he might be going through in his life? Probably not, and this will be the same way that he feels about you. All that he is trying to do is make the business work, and he does this by doing the work that he has been set to do. It might be the case that he is so concerned about meeting his own deadlines that he simply forgets to be bothered about what everybody else in the company has to do in their jobs.

Hi Alokijon,
in my opinion, most boss are that way. My supervisor is acting that way, too. So, in my opinion, if you still can stand the way he treats you, then go ahead. If you couldn't anymore, just move away. That's simple.
We need preparation in everything, I mean.. We can't just leave and resign when we want to.. but, how if you really cannot stand the situation already?
