Do you read the Bible or did you reject it?

For me,Bible is our source of authority. We come to the Bible to read, and listen to it because it is from God.2Tim 3:16. He is our Lord the savior and our Church Head.We submit to His authority and we follow Him in scriptures ways. He is the God who is the one who died for our sins, and gives us assurance of salvation while we here on earth.1John 5:11.13. He is Lord who prepared us the mansions in Heaven that God prepared for the saved souls.John14:1 -6. We don't reject the Bible, but we stand for it and share it. We submit to the Bible, because God is the Word and we are here on earth because of Good... Hope you read the Bible and don't use it for debates but share it for peace, because God is the God of peace and not for war..

That's great that you still remember the story you hid in your hearts and mind. I hope in these days, you still come and read the Bible to understand more, and get more treasures of wisdom.

The bible is definitely the inspired word of GOD,and therefore rejecting the BIBLE is rejecting GOD, and I can't reject the man who created me. Admittedly though I don't read it as regularly as I should, I need to correct that.

Bible is really true, pure and perfect.Same to rejecting the Bible ,and rejecting God. Its good you admit, but maybe if we have time, i think we can do it giving time to read.

i do read the bible. it is good to hear the bible interpreted during the service but then, it is also better that you have your own daily devotions, in reading the bible or just reading a verse and reflecting on it.

It is wonderful that you have faith and keep it alive and joyful by reading the Bible. So many people profess to have certain beliefs or belong to such and such church, religion or faith, even Christianity, but they often cannot tell what is written in their Holy Book. I respect those who enjoy and are moved by the Bible. Reading the Bible may be a dying trend, for all I know.I seldom see as many people reading it as I did when I was a young girl. I keep a Bible on my shelf and read it often, for inspiration and also in order to calm myself when I am feeling overwhelmed by stress, lol...which is often :) ... and yes, I agree it is also a tool for peace.

The Bible is very inspired, perfect and pure.It change life and convicts sins. Yes agree that so many claim, profess that they are true, but they are not..The Bible talks about people who say Lord,Lord but shall not enter in God's kingdom... They are not the true one,But hypocrites. God's people are those have true faith, and Jesus is the savior of their life.John1:12.

As much as possible, I want to read the Bible everyday. This book is indeed powerful and I feel so refreshed everytime I read it. Whenever I am sad or happy, I want to read it. There's a lot of things that I learned from reading the Bible and it helps me to become a strong person.

We read chosen verses during our family appointment with El Shaddai as our leader explain or interpret it's meaning in simple way and easy to understand. I read however the bible during Holy Week daily till I finish the whole book till easter. Not for debates but to be familiar again with the words of God and to understand and put it into practice. Also for us to look back to the sufferings of the Lord God for us.

Some religious groups do that for debates just to win that they are true but that is not what the Bible said. They are not from God,and also God did not say to debate His Word. Good to know that you are doing to read the Bible, and hope that through your reading, you are knowing that Jesus is the only way and through preaching His Word we understand what He is said.

Aye! I read it, believe it, study it, proclaim it, with the help of Christ I live it and depend upon its promises of mercy when I fall short. When they gave me the option to major in either Bible or theology, I chose Bible. Never mind theology, lol!

That is very nice point of view and I really love what you said about Hope you read the Bible and don't use it for debates but share it for peace, because God is the God of peace and not for war which inspires me more. I even posted that in the wall of my facebook of course with your credits. I can't see the point why other people keeps on debating and debating and debating or argue and argue and argue all over again. Maybe that is because they have different points of view, understanding and interpretation about the bible that is the reason why no wonder the world is still in trouble.

I am not a religious person. I believe in the big bang theory, and reject all religious theories. However, I respect other's rights to an opinion, and embrace their theories. I haven't read the bible, but I intend to at some point in life, to see things from the other side of the argument.

Ok ,since you did not believe the Bible, i say thanks for the response i know that is your other opinions. But for me, even you don't believe God the Bible, i still share it no matter what happens. Because will remain for ever the Word of God,and although people will reject it but Bible will always there and truth.,

I don`t believe in god and I have never read the bible, but I understand the point of it... It is there for people to have something to believe in if they need to. Don`t take this against me, but I would dare to say it is there for (I`ll just call it that way) "desperate" people... That`s just my opinion, but it could be because of the fact that I am from Croatia and "hard economy" is not a hard enough term for what here is going on, so I think that is the main reason why people are searching for something to believe in around here... And let me say it again, I have nothing against "god", the bible or people who believe in that stuff, I`m just trying to describe how it is here where I come from... peace!

I read my Bible on a regular basis. It keeps me connected with God, it helps keep me focused and upbeat. It is a wonderful source of inspiration.
