Angry dogs..

I love dogs. We have four dogs in our house. My problem is that our neighbors has dogs also and we are living in the compound and its annoy me that their dog go out in their house and take a pooh in the street and they don't pick it up. worse sometimes its pooh in front of our house. while we have four dogs but we don't let our dogs go out without a leash and we pick up their pooh if they do pooh outside in our compound. Problem is this. When I tell my neighbors that they need to pick up their dog pooh and put their dog on a leash when outside instead of heeding I become some how become strict and authoritarian and its seems my neighbor become less friendly with me anymore.

Generally there are laws against these things, especially in a community living environment. Of course, I would suggest speaking with the people personally before bringing it to the attention of the committee governing the compound. However, since you already did this and it did not help, then the next step would be to bring it to the attention of the committee. If that still does not work, then you could bring it to the attention of local law enforcement, but I definitely would reserve that for the last step.

It doesn't sound like they r the type to associate with anyway, they have a SH_TTY disposition. With a neibour like you have u don't need them.
You have to do what you have to , even taking their dogs deposits and leaving it on their porch, if that doesn't get their attension, leaving it between their doors will.
Take it from some one that got their neibors attension by doing the above. My neibours got the same message. I have 3 dogs that don't drop off any deposits anywhere but their own back yards without picking up....

confrontal approach? Problem is that how can you tell that this pooh belong to this dog? Theirs so many houses in our compound and so many dogs owner you really can't pin point whose dogs pooh is that. And if even you did and I do that its only going to be a dog fight if you ask me.

That's awful. I have an annoying neighbor as well and insensitive too. I just can't understand why people are like that. Since you are living in a townhouse, people should learn to cooperate with each other to live harmoniously.
I'm not sure how to approach that neighbor of yours. I'm sorry.

Its not only a neighbor but neighbors. They want to have dogs but they don't know the etiquette of a dog owners. They have big dogs also while we only have tsizhu. So their reason is that we have small dogs so we can pick the pooh but they have big dogs so how the pooh is big and its messy or yucky to pick up. But for me you think of that before you get a dog.
