I know all of use have some personality or some other side that no one has seen or know and not even your friends or family.
For example me. Before I wear my brief I smell it first. Its because I want to make sure that my brief is clean and freshly smell. As I'm really conscious about body hygiene. How about you?

Well, me, I am really a confident and noisy person when I'm with people I like but I don't know why I can't be confident to show the true and real me whenever I'm with family and relatives. I just show my true self to closest friends.

I think you're totally right. Yes, I'm afraid they will criticize and that if they judge me, it will hurt because those are family. But when I'm with my friends, I can show all my flaws and my true self because they do the same. They show their flaws too and we accept one another. But with family and relatives, they have different expectations of me, I always have to appear as a good girl.

But once you have a bf or gf I'm sure things will change. lols. Your not afraid to get criticize anymore and you get more irritated if you get criticized than get afraid especially if the person who is criticize is your bf or gf. lols.

Its because maybe you are afraid to be criticize by your own family. Unlike if you are with other people if you get criticize you can prove them wrong. But with your family that suppose to support you and criticize your mind you will end up hurt.

That makes me smile and laugh a little bit before hitting the keyboard. I agree with you. There are some things that we usually do which are not much that relevant but becomes a habit already. As for me, I usually smell my socks before putting on to make sure that it doesn't smell awful. If it smells good, I use it but if it smells awful, I throw it at the laundry bin. These are not a concern for many but it is for me. I believe there are still areas that we already had a pattern of doing it.@bulastika (5966)

That's true. That's why I have ten pair of shoes. To make sure that my shoes don't have sweat smells. Because once I use my shoes three times in the row I'm sure its has some smell already as my feet rely sweat badly. lols.

I'm not sure if I have some sort of idiosyncracy. Although I do keep a lot of things to myself which not even my family knows but it's more of a personal thing for me and not because it's a peculiar habit. But I'm sure I have one. I might not realized it yet :)

So what is that you keep that not even your family knows? Just for the benefit of this thread? Its does not necessary means its a habit. As long its something that if your parents going to know they will say that is not you. the person I know don't do that etc. lols.
