Why won't God just destroy Satan?

coz neither of them does exist :-) unfortunately the act of destruction can be an evil thing in itself and hence has to be the last resort. In case of the devil - if he would exist - the risk would be low though. If you destroy something that's absolutely evil that's ok. However, there's nothing alife that doesn't contain at least a tiny bit of something good. Even the worst criminal can become as tame as a hamster if he gets enlightened (loses his/her ignorance of what his/her heart tells him) :-) The problem is that nowadays we have too many brain-f*cked ppl running around. They function like robots.

God WILL destroy Satan, but He'll do that when Jesus comes back again, the reason He hasn't come back yet is because He wants to give people time to repent. But God will destroy Satan, but not until all prophecies in the Bible have been fulfilled.

because there is no god and there is no satan. Satan is made up, so is god. these are just other words for good and bad, right or left (yes if you are left(handed) you are according to the church a devil too!). ying/yang or how you want to call it.. both is necessary to stay in balance. Both you need to recognize, to know, to see the difference. And if it comes to bad.. it's not satan but the human being who is. And it's also the human being who loves to blame others for their own deeds. If you have brains you should use them instead of misbehaving, blaming others.

I think is because in order to know good you must also know evil. People decide whether or not to be good or bad, to follow God or not. If there was no evil in this world how would he know which ones are truly good and which ones, if given the opportunity, would chose to do bad ? Evil is there to create balance in this world. The true test of God is to chose right in the presence of wrong, good in the presence of bad, light in the presence of darkness.

As other mylotters already said- the world is abut balance... There will always be good and evil, poor and rich... And besides, one cannot appreciate god in the world if he or she did not see the bad. Life is much more exciting with good and bad things happening...

Well dear, you are not the only one who asked this question. I myself did and could not understand why until I learned to trust God in all aspects of life. God is Almighty that is no doubt and his power does not constitute just about everything we want Him to do. God is in control of every thing so if He is not yet destroying Satan it is for a reason only He knows as of this moment but I tell you we will understand it better when we pass this world. God is higher than all of us so it is not possible of us to understand all His thoughts and ways. Just as God himself has stated in Isaiah 55:8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Why God just don't crush Satan is one of the mysteries we have yet to know. But s the Bible has revealed, one day God will defeat Satan once and for all and it will be a horrible in fact the most horrible ending one could ever have. God will throw him into the Lake of Fire where he will be tortured day and night forever (Revelation 20:10. God has planned everything from the beginning of time to the end. We are not in any position to alter His plan because whatever His plans are they surely are all for the glory of His name. So let us just learn to trust God and submit to whatever He desires for Satan and for every one and every thing in this world.

Thats because there is a simple answer for that. Neither one of the entities you have mentioned exist. Thats why God does not destroy Satan. It all works well for movies and TV, but it is not logical in any sense of the word. Science explains everything we need to know. There is no magic in this world.

Oh God, I could but it wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of knowing I have to, to get control. He is a low down cheat and can’t be trusted but everyone that knows him knows it and everyone that doesn’t will find out. Sure I could stop the hurts but all my friends know I mean business when I say don’t give way to the temptation. He just isn’t worth it. Sorry, I misread this question. I thought you were referring to my x.

i was in a dingy bar having a jack daniels and coke the other day when satan ordered a soda water and lime and sat down beside me. this made me uneasy as god was playing pool with allah and neither had seen each other. to have some fun i started a conversation to wind him up. i asked him if he thought he could take god in a square go. he said that a lion does not fight a water buffalo or vice versa as both fear losing. so there you have it....they are scared of each other. i was so dissapointed with his response i left the bar telling the bartender satan would pay my tab.
