Is it worthwhile buying a 3DS?

I have been looking at these consoles for a while now and im wondering if its a worth buying one? ive looked into it and read what its all about but i need a users opinion to either stop me from making a mistake or to inform me its awesome! :) Thanks guys :) MIKE

Its worthwhile for me cos I get to play a resident evil game that is scary again, since most resident evil games in main consoles are way too action packed, some great ps2 games will be ported to 3ds too. If you are a fan of the Metal gear solid series all of them will have 3ds port. Basically what are your favorite game franchises? if they will have upcoming 3ds games, then 3ds is for you.

hey yeah i used to play metal gear solid on the playstation! Loved that game so the prospect of its coming out on this console is definitely a step in the right direction for me buying it :) Thanks for the info :)

The 3rd Metal Gear Solid game will make you fall in love with the main villain. Through out the whole game, the story will make you love her more and more, then in the end, WTF...you have to kill her in the final boss fight. There are also some fighting games that will have 3ds ports too. If you like Tom Clancy games, there is one Tom clancy games. If you like visual Novels, 3ds will have Ace attorney 5, and Ace Attorney vs. professor Layton. In case of PSP Vita, I heard many ps3 games will have Vita ports.

Is the third metal gear game the one that is set in the jungle? Pretty much got addicted to that game! :D I dont think i will go for the PSP though cause it just seems like a waste of time in my opinion but maybe if they bring out a new Gran Turismo i may be swayed :)
