Why don't you have referrals?

Dear myLotters, I've often seen conversations about getting referrals (or the lack of) for myLot and many PTC programs and I've been meaning to ask the question for a long time now. Why don't you have referrals for the programs you participate in? Is it because you spend so much time with the program, you don't have time to promote and recruit referrals? Is it because you don't know how to use the free promotion methods? What are some other reasons? Cheers, Stan

I think that it is difficult to have referrals , now there is many sites help you to exchange referrals

Getting good referrals for MyLot is much more difficult than it is for many programs. MyLot is fairly unique and requires a certain type of person. There are certainly still many people who would enjoy MyLot but, in my experience, they are often the kind of person who either mistrusts online earning or doesn't care about it. Conversely, the kind of person who is interested in the level of earnings which one can expect from MyLot, generally finds that it requires too much work and skills which they don't have (or are disinclined to use).

I guess it's just too hard to convince them that 1) The site is not a scam 2) They should join under you 3) It's worth their time Plus... refs usually dont like the fact that you get a % of what they do and they get nothing at all...

I've heard the first 3 reasons you provided before but that last one is new to me. "They don't like the fact that you get a % of what they do..." is really wild. I guess those would be the ones not trying to get referrals on their own. Interesting indeed. Cheers, Stan

No, it's not wild. Why else would people bother to erase their cookies or erase your ref number when signing up? Even if you agree to provide downline support people don't sign up through your link for that purpose.

Can you suggest any suitable means getting referrals? If you have anything, please share it with us; all are very eager, I think, to get an idea about it.

Hi DoctorDidi. Are you talking about referrals for myLot? If so, based on all the responses here, I tried being honest in other forums and just asked the question: "does anyone here enjoy starting and responding to all types of discussions?" without mentioning anything about getting paid for it. That received no responses. I'm sure if I asked if anyone was interested in earning doing the same thing, I would have gotten replies but then more than likely they would join and become inactive. If you were referring to another type of program, yes I can suggest ways to get referrals but I would need to know what it is you are promoting. Cheers, Stan

Hi Sishy! I don't know what it is about your response that I like. Short, sweet and to the point! You are definitely here for the discussions only, aren't you? Cheers, Stan

Most of us who have had referrals have them sign on then not become active. Or they become active in a small way for a short time then they are gone. The person who referred me lost interest shortly after I joined. Places like these are not for everyone. Most people I know have better things to do (in their opinion, lol)

Hi, usually I don't referred my online earning site to others specially if they will sign up for only I said it to them and then after signing in they will not visit the site again. I do sometimes recommend but not promoting so much the site. If they are interested I will give them my referral link.

I don't waste my time with getting referrels. They are a waste of time. Usually people who do have them don't make little or any money off of them. Most referrels get pissed off when they find out the person who refered them gets 25% of their earings, they stop coming to Mylot. They think Mylot is a waste of time then. Even if they stay they have to work harder to get anywhere! I was not referred here. I over heard a co-worker talk about it and I looked into Mylot on my own, before I joined.

I think for myself, I'm just too busy with other things to bother with finding referrals and even though I have a few referrals, they're not working so I'd rather work by myself.

Yes I knew that would be one main reason for many mylotters. If you don't want to get paid every 2 years or so like I do, you really have to work at it to earn more frequently.

Me, personally, I'm not into "recruiting" others. I suppose I could post the banners and such in my profiles and hope to get referrals from those who use my link - I just don't. I know some people get their friends and family to join to get the most referrals, but I don't like the people I know to know that I participate in sites like this (mostly because I have the freedom to talk about them - ha ha). Eh, the extra money could be useful - but eh, I'm fine with just doing the minimum that I do!

Or even worse much2say, getting friends and family to join and then find them talking about here!

I believe finding referrals to sign up isn't hard. In fact, if you do the right things it's easy to get a few referrals, and if you do put some work into it you can get a lot of refs. The problem is making them stay active, or even start earning at all. In a certain site I have around 10 refs, (doing minimal work!) but none of them are active. Only one of them earned a bit but hasn't been online since a long time. I've also heard stories where people have 800 refs but only 3 are active (and would soon be inactive).

I have just recently discovere mylot and am a new member so I don't have any referrals for it. Also, I don't have the extra time to promote and to find referrals for this or other money earning websites. I have very limited time during which I come online and do a few things online...

That's the problem I have to maria. Lack of time. I only get a few hours online in the evenings and I need to get some promotion duties in otherwise online marketing would be a waste. Thank goodness for multi-tab browsing, eh?!

One of the reasons we don't get many referrals because most of us really don't know of a way how to promote those links. For those who do, they may not have enough traffic to even get a viewer. Or that we don't have much friends or relatives that would really sign up into our accounts...I think.

Find referrals, in the sites of gain, on my own, is not a simple thing. For example in my case I'm Italian, I have many of my compatriots to whom I have several times proposed various sites. Given the fact that most of these sites are foreign (or better than the English language), no one is okay to want to work on. In fact do not remember ever even had any referrals in the past. For the question of putting the link in the banner, well I tell you frankly, is something I still do not know.

according to me i don't spend much time earning online and it is waste for me to have referrals. we suggest our friends to be a referral for particular site and we waste our time by explaining them. they simply listen to what we say and they don't show interest to participate. so i don't like having referrals

well, i'm too lazy to get referrals. but now, i'm trying to get some. i still enjoy mylot even though i don't have that much money earned. of course, referrals will help increase that. but i would rather spend time convincing good referrals who are most likely going to stay long on mylot that pay some random person to join but won't last long here.

i've introduced mylot to my friends and some programs where i'm in they just only say that they will join or accept the referral request i send them if i can show then a proof of payment.
