Do you want a digital camcorder?

I don't need a digital camcorder. As I think that a digital camera can do the same, but just not so professional. Besides, it takes a long time editting and watching the video. This is why I am not so interested in it.

I do video work, so I need to have camcorders around...you get a better video on a camcorder then a camera, and it's easier to work with from home, plus you can shoot for way longer... the tiny batteries and little SD cards have limits, in where I'm shooting 1.5 hour long shows...
But, most people are much more for cameras then camcorders, nowadays, which is limiting the market more. I'd like it if more people were into video, but, just gotta go with how it's going along.

People only get bothered by spending more time watching the video, if it's bad video... how about this, which would be more entertaining, looking at a couple photos that a friend took on facebook, or going out to see a movie in the theatre?

Camcorders are not for everyone. I have many digital cameras, and some of them do take HD video, and I don't use that feature all that much. I find it easier to share photographs than videos. I can show people photographs on my laptop or tablet, but to get someone to sit down to watch a video to me is a bit much. I think if you have kids and want to document their growing up, that's one good use for video, but that does not apply to me.

No. I like the cameras I have. One is a little digital camera that also takes videos, and the other is a camcorder that puts videos onto DVDs. I also have a camera in my cellphone.
