When you found out that you where having a second baby, did you kind of hope that your second baby would be the opposite gender of your first child just so that you could experiences what it would be like to have one of each? When me and my husband found out that we are having a second baby we both are hoping for a boy. It would be nice to have one of each for a while till we have our 3rd baby. I have a daughter now I can't wait to find out if we are having our first boy or if we are having another daughter. Either way we will be happy and excited. If have another girl there is no need to shop I have all of my daughters clothes from last year when she was born so at least I'll save money on new clothes for a second baby. If a boy we will go and buy a few cute boy out fits and some gender neutral ones as well. I have a few from when my daughter was born but not a lot.

first congrats on baby #2! My daughter is just shy of six months, so we're not going for another one until she's two or so, but we just want a healthy baby! With our daughter we had such a bad scare I plan to check with my OB if they have privileges at another hospital, and if they don't, as much as I like them, I'm actually going to look for another OB. The only thing I can say is if we have a boy, we already have a name, if it's another girl, we'll probably struggle to find one again lol!

We have both names picked out and it really doesn't matter to us what we have it would be a nice change we weren't planing on having our daughter we did it planned us and the same with baby number two we didn't play got get pregnant 10 months after having our daughter it pretty much choice us again. Both times I can't believe our birth control failed on us. I don't know if its a good thing having two kids with in 2 years of each other. My daughter will almost be 2 years old by the time the second baby gets here which is when we could have started maybe trying for a second baby. We have a girl name and boy named picked out. My husband says its a girl and I say its boy and last time I was right with what we where having.

I thought we were going to have a girl, my husband was convinced it was going to be a boy, and when the ultrasound revealed it was going to be a girl, my husband went "I knew it!" It was really funny. But because I was right and he was wrong, I didn't have to cook dinner that night.

I would just love to say I told you so again. My husband he didn't believe me the first time I was pregnant that I was pregnant. So of course this time he believed me when I told him I was. So I hope I can get the gender right for the second time. I'm pretty much the only person saying we are having a boy. Like last time I was the only one saying we where having a girl. At least we do have two names picked out. I'm not like my husband sister she wanted a girl so bad and now she is having a boy and has no first name for him.

congratulations!! i have an 18 year old and a 14 year old and had a miscarriage in between. for me, it didnt matter what gender the baby was with my 14 year old, as long as it was healthy. for us, it was much cheaper to have two girls just becuase of clothes and not having to buy much.

We don't really care it would just different having a boy and girl and seeing the relationship between a brother and sister is different then sisters relationship. Only time will tell what we are having go a few more weeks to go before we kind find out if we need to buy boy clothes or unpack all of our girl clothes. We know where to go to get good boy clothes for a good price. Second hand stores is what we live off of for our daughters clothes and baby stuff that we got her.
