Do your animals have nightmares?

Do your animals have nightmares? My dog sleeps by my feet while I'm on the pc. Sometimes, he growls, barks or cries while he is sound asleep. I'm not sure if it's a good dream or bad dream. Some of my cats do the same thing while they are napping. They lay there sound asleep while they meow or growl. Have any of you experienced this w/ any of your animals?

I think they can dream. My dogs do that same thing, with the growling and kicking their little feet while sleeping. I am not sure if it is a nightmare or just a very active dream but it is quite cute. :)

Yes..the dog woofs and all.lol and the cat day dreams...she chases her imaginary friend a meter up walls and all!! hahaha
