why i said like that??
messi had recorded his name as 3 times as the best player in the world
and last night, he make new record..
he break the record in champions league
he is the first one, which can make 5 goals in one match in champions league
so i can say that messi is identic with the new record...
what is your opinion about messi??

Messi is the best player in the world by far his speed and ball control are the best and yesterday he scored five great goals for Barcelona. There are other great players such as Christian Ronaldo, Frank Ribery and Wayne Rooney but they are not as good as Messi

Messi is better than Ronaldo and now he has scored 5 goasl in a champions league game that has sealed it. I think that playing for Barcelona is better than R.Mardrid because barca are a better team.

i remeber Pele, maradona, platini and the rest. i grew up watching them play on tv and without doubt Messi is the best.
the above players were great in certain games but messi maintains such a high level game in game out, year in year out. Pele and the rest shone every so often.
another great thing about messi is his ability to immediately get up after being fouled. no rolling about like his leg has been broken.
In my opinion the greatest player to have ever lived....and he is still only 24!

I agree with that he may be the best player ever people compare him to Diego Maradonna i think that he is better than Diego Maradonna.

He is absolutely fantastic player. He now has scored 5 goals in a match which is the world record. He also has scored 4 goals in a match before. So he has the next best record as well with other players. Who is to bet that one day he will not get a 6th goal in a match. Already Guardiola has predicted he will be able to do it.

even pele always said that neymar is better than messi, messi only answered by many goals..where is the goal of Neymar??
if Mou always praise Ronaldo and never said Messi is better than ronaldo, where is the record of ronaldo now??

It is ridiculous to compare players as every player has its own goods and not-so-goods. Is Messi a good player? Yes. Is Neymar a good player? Yes. Is Ronaldo is a good player? Yes. They are all good players. Trouble starts when people wants to pinpoint who is the best. As with a beauty pageant, all contestants are surely pretty or else they won't not even be on stage, and beauty, like skill(who plays better)and achievement(who wins more), is just a matter of opinion. The winner will not get 100% acceptance from everyone. The losers will not be considered ugly out of a sudden just because she didn't win. But I know that if I am a football manager, I would like all three of them in my team even though I am not sure which one of them is the best.

Messi is touted as the best player of his generation and rightly so. Beside goals and skills, what is amazing is his consistency. Season in season out, Messi just goes about doing his job. Another amazing fact about him is his "sturdiness". Despite being on the receiving end of some crude tackle, he has so far remain relatively fit for every game.

we do hope there are must next messi in later..
every time had a best player..
in 1970, we had Pele...
but in 1980 we had Maradonna and Lotthar Matheaus..
in 1990 we had roberto baggio, ronaldo and zinedine zidane..
from 2000-2010, we had kaka, ronaldinho
so maybe from 2010 we had Messi, ronaldo, and rooney

Messi is not my favourite player. And with all those new records he got, just make me dislike him more, cause he just too superior for other players 
But yes indeed, even if i didn't like him, he still is a good player and maybe the best player in the world currently. Just hoping it make him still a humble player and not forgetting where he came from.

Messi is a fantastic player. His contribution to Barcelona's success is so great that if he is not available to play, there is a doubt that other strikers can take over his position and do as well - not Alexis Sánchez, and not David Villa. Messi is simple irreplaceable. I hope Messi can do as well for his national team as for Barcelona.

i see many people did not believe or think that messi is not deserved for his achievement
they feel sometimes that the best player must be ronaldo..
i did not underestimate ronaldo, but when you think that messi is not deserved, you become liar..

Messi is perfect. He's everything what a team needs. He can dribble, he can pass, he can shoot, he can score with any foot and head, he can assist and lastly, he's not an out and out striker. Given his young age, he has surpassed a lot of other footballers, be it now or in the past. He should be a legendary player, to be worshipped by fans all over the world. He's definitely way better than Diego Maradona and Pele, given all the technologies nowadays. Whatever Pele and Maradona had done in the pas, messi has done it now. He doesn't have to prove it on the international or world stage, because soccer is about team efforts, not individual efforts.
