In a call center industry.. People used influence, power, authority and even their own body. here's my story..
A friend of mine is indeed a beauty.. a standout one.. with a slim body and perfect butt no one can resist her.. but start talking to her.. everything boils down to zero.. she is one of the best example of the "BLONDE JOKE" she has the beauty, she has the body.. and that's it.. I was then promoted as a supervisor.. as a upper management team everything that circulate in our subordinates we should know it. then the a bad gossip begins.. my "friend" will be promoted as a supervisor as well.. Since i heard of it of course I'm excited to welcome her but i was wrong.. She was promoted as executive supervisor/ secretary of 1 of our ACCM (higher than us) then half of our agents are talking that they saw my "friend" and 1 of our boss coming out from a hotel.. holding hands.. then 2 weeks after the ACCM is terminated and my "friend" replaced him.. this time people are buzzing about seeing "my friend" coming out from a hotel with our director.. but when i asked her she just burs ted into tears.. and said it's not true
hmmm... should i believe the buzz? or my friend?

Most probably she went out with those guys. How comes she is the only one being pointed out and why not someone else? I believe there are still some more beautiful and attractive women around but your friends just seems to be easy pick. I think you need to give her some advice on how she should behave.

I would say this happen everywhere, not only in a call center industry. In the company I working, there's thing happen where the director will go out with some pretty girls for meals or some where else, then the particular girl will be promoted or got better raise in her pay check. It's shocking but it's happening.

i think i would rather believe my friend than the buzzing going around. now, that you have asked her straight-faced, then as a friend, you should believe her. there is no time that she needs you most that this. she needs a friend to believe her. that's what friends are for, right? do as what friends normally do, stay with their friends' side.

well i did asked her but she doesn't want to talk about it.. and she started avoiding me because she said she doesn't want me to get involved with her anymore..

Unless you see it with your own eyes, it's best not to entertain the buzz. It might be true but it might be not as well. Your friend may had worked really hard to earn her spot or something did happen between her and the director. But you know her better than anyone else as she's your friend. You should be able to tell whether it's the truth or not.

to tell you honestly she doesn't talk that much.. we are friends but she doesn't share a lot..

It's difficult to judge between your friend & those rumors about the situation. Your friend said it's not true but other said they saw something. So maybe you should put an conclusion to be stop all the rumors. If you know your friend, you know that she will not do it, because she has the capacity to be that position. Or maybe those people are jealous to your friend. I think you should listen carefully & understand every details that you get from others.

Now, there are fewer chances for young people moving upwards. And in most countries, they do not have fair atmosphere to compete with their rivals. That gives their boss chances to use them for free.
Here in China, if you want a improvement, you should know how to bribe your boss, how to make your boss happy and even use your body to get that. I do not like life here, but we are taught to adapt it.

strange criterion/way for promotion where the morals and ethics going is something tough to know ......I would say such trend is not only shameful but inhuman and corporate must stop this practice to survive longer..........

Using "back ups" or using influence people isnt just only in call center but also in most offices.
Sorry but I don't much believe in rumors. I still believe in what my friends say even I have doubts. What I do is I discuss it to her what I have in mind and what people say
