My parents

I thought about my parents today, and phoned them. They are always complaining that I don't phone often enough, so I will try to call them more often from now on. I talked to my dad first then my mom, I always seem to have a better talk with my mom. Anyway, they said they had a very nice visit yesterday with my brother and his family. They will celebrate my dad's birthday at their house next month and then at the end of May my cousin from Germany will be there at my parents place to visit for a few weeks. I am looking forward to visiting with my cousin too since I don't see many relatives from Germany. Your thoughts or family stories, My Lot, friends!

enjoy your parents while you can. my father passed away quite suddenly a few years ago at the age of 72. because i am the only child, it was very difficult as my mom was a basket case and i pretty much had to do everything.

I am so sorry about your dad. I am dreading the day one of my parents pass away. My dad told me today that he has had tests done for prostate cancer and he seems optimistic but still a little worried. I hope too that the tests come back negative. I pray that both parents live a long life.

Yeah me too. I don't really text or call my mom more often than I should. She said, I only remember them when I'm sad or lonely. So, I decided to surprise them one day. I booked a flight back home, without them knowing. I love their reaction when they opened the door. If I were you, try this one time, surely all of you will have a great laugh.
