Do many of you like to play games on the internet? I love 'mahjong dimensions'. It is a series of 3 cubes and it is timed. Each part is a cube made up of the tiles. The first one is the smallest, second one is made up of more tiles, and the third cube is even more tiles. So it gets more challenging with each cube. At first it was really hard to get done before the time was up. I usually win, but sometimes lose. I haven't found many online games that I like except for this one.

Mahjoing is a traditional game in China. I know how to play it but I seldom play it since I am not very interested in it. Since most people play mahjong but meanwhile they gamble money, too. I don't like the game will be related to the money. It will give me pressure rather than pleasure. I love China

I don't play for money. I never play any games for money. Is the word Mahjong a Chinese word? If so, what does it mean?

Mahjong is a Chinese word and it refers to a kind of a bird. I don't know why it will have such a name for this game.

LOL! Hey, let me tell you... it is not a complicated game if I'm playing it! :) I don't play difficult games. I don't want to have to 'think' a lot because that's my relaxing time. It's kinda like match game only the tiles are face up and in layers.

I love mahjong! The solitaire version is fun, and I'm currently learning how to play the official game, though that's a bit hard since I don't really have anyone who wants to play against me. I'm a pro at the solitaire version, though, so I guess I at least have that going for me.

Mahjong solitaire is the only one I play. What do you mean, the 'official game'? Is it online with other people?

The official game is kind of the traditional multiplayer version, I guess? It's a lot more difficult than the solitaire version.

I used to play that before in Worldprofit but I got tired because I never seem to pick up the speed in finishing the game fast enough.

It takes practice and patience. It took me quite some time and just when I was going to give up on it I made it to the next level and then to the 3rd level. Sometimes it's still difficult depending on how the tiles are layer out.

Haha, I think it doesn't matter that playing mahjong online, but it is bad to play a real mahjong set. I always see people play mahjong here and there. I don't know why they are so addicted to mahjong.

I haven't played that one but it sounds fun. I like word games. I like to play bookworm. There is another one that I can't remember the name too but you have to place the colored pieces a certain way to have them fall away. Kinda like tetris using cubes.

If you like it but getting bored with the basic versions and want a challenge, dimensions is great! That's how I started it. I tried Dark Dimensions and it is too hard.

Yeah it is good for the brain to keep it active in a different way than typical studying or reading. I think I'm addicted to it. I wish I had time constraints, but I don't.

I have never played Mahjong but I know people who do and they say it's totally addictive. I don't really play games on the internet although when I do, usually at work when I'm bored (shhh... don't tell my boss LOL), I sometimes will play a game called Book Worm. Other times, Bejeweled is really addictive & fun & a good way to waste your life away. . Maybe I will try Mahjong one day. Where do you find that game at? Happy MyLotting!

MahJong is my favorite game. I can't get enough of it. I am currently playing MahJong Tiles Deluxe, but I have played several other versions. I never tried Dimensions. I have learned that MahJong can be played with several people. I don't know how that would work.

I can't get enough of it either! I'll have to see if Mahjong Tiles Deluxe is available on the site where I play Dimensions. Yea, I've heard that also. Long time ago I played games online that others joined in on. One of them was checkers, I can't remember what the others were.

Whenever I have extra time and I want to relax a little then I play online games. There are so many games and so much variety to choose from. They are fun and entertaining. I like to play mahjong online too sometimes but don't play it too often...

I work on the computer at home so then I take a break, play a game or two (or three) and then work some more. They are addictive sometimes! My granddaughter will want to play a game and I'm like "just a minute, I'm trying to beat my other score".

No, I've never been to pogo games. I'm learning about more games though from this discussion. Doesn't hurt to have some back up games. Might get addicted to those also!

I love playing the real majong...I have learned to play it since I was in grade 5...it is not only a money game but also it is very good exercise to your brain I actually recommend this to my grandparents since they are old they need to play once in a while to have a brain exercise but anyway I would like to know how to play it online I cant seem to understand the game just like poker I know how to play it in the Casinos however online I am having a hard time understanding it...If someone can guide me then why not it is nice because it is very accessible however I guess would still prefer to have the old way.

I don't play poker. I got my dad a couple of hand held games for his birthday last year. He's in his 80's and needs to exercise his brain also, but he won't do it. to him it's like work, instead of something fun to do. I go to lifetime.com to play Mahjong. http://www.mylifetime.com/
