Some people said that if they only have owned so much wealth they could be happy...but for me it is not true, because for me, wealth cannot make a person happy, because true happiness cannot be found in material things, happiness must be learn with in your self even if you don't have so much wealth. Learn to be happy with what you have in life, so that when time come that you have so much in life, you will be much more happier and share it to others.

Happiness is finding what you are passionate doing and finding enjoyment when doing it. Money is needed for us to live but is it does not equate to personal happiness or simply money cannot buy happiness.

I have to agree with you. My husband and I don't have a lot of money, but certainly are very happy. We have each other, a beautiful daughter, loving family and friends, and we're both healthy. We couldn't really ask for more than that. We don't need material wealth to be happy.

I feel that happiness cannot come from material things, once you have the minimum to survive. Noone can be happy if is experiencing hunger. Yet a big feast is not enough to make you happy if you donĀ“t have someone you love with whom to share it.

Yes it's true that it's not material things that make a person happy. But even non-material things like love of people around, friendships, a great job, etc., could still not make a person content and be happy. It's part of being human. To be always wanting more, and not being ever satisfied. And as long as one keeps looking for more, one could never be truly happy.

You're right! But still not all people have the same views. Others are too materialistic that it become the basis of their happiness and satisfaction. :)

I agree with you so much.money only fill up our matiral life.we need both matiral life and spiritual life ,if we want to be happy. However ,the latter is based on the former.Make money and do not be greedy ,the we have chance to do what we really like to do.

Yes learning to be happy with what your have and training yourself not to be jealous or envy with other people happiness and possession is important also, and also able to be immunne with people ill or bad critism or bad mouth is important also. Mixing with the wrong negative crowd can really kill your good mood also, hence better stick with positive minded people who are encouraging are the best and honest polited people are addded bonus too.

You're right. It's not a necessary that if one want to be happy, he must be rich. Life is simple and it's easy to be happy. Take everything simple and you'll realized it's not hard at all. You're trying to earn a lot of money but you're not enjoy and happy at all, it's such a waste.

We have to be thankful of what we have and always count our blessings instead of wanting too much of what we have.Acceptance and contentment is important but indeed, people has no contentment and always longing and wanting for more to satisfy their selves. We should be have of what we have and enjoy his life based on the things that we have.

rightly said. i agree...happiness cannot b bought with money...it is a state of mind....we have a whole of people below poverty line and they r happy by wht they do and wht they get....i wud further add...at time even ignorance also adds to the happiness...if one is aware of the fancy things in life the urge wud be more to acquire them and then that might result in ending the happiness....

This is truly right... The real happiness comes from pure heart. A simple joke from a friend, make us smile. A simple thank you is enough for us to be happy.

yes! that's true. one must be contented and happy of what we have. it doesn't matter if your of wealth or not, what matters most is that in everything you do, you feel happiness deep inside you, and that's the most important thing that matters after all. :)

I agree with you that we have to be happy and contented of what we have. It is the first simple way to being successful. See, when you are contented of what you have, you feel happier but it is wiser to be content of what you have while dreaming for something you need and want. Material things also brings us happiness but as you said, they do not bring forth true happiness. But material things are bridges for us to be contented of what we have. Have a great day.
