comments on discussions

Sometimes, I started discussions but takes few minutes or even hours before someone responded on it. Sometimes, I have to leave the front of computer for some tasks. When I got back and check for my account, there are already respponses. I read it and post comments on each response. How about you mylotters, do you also place comments on all the responses in your discussions?

I don't start many discussions and I certainly would never start one if I know that I am not here to comment to any responses that arrive. When we start a discussion, we post a topic for discussion and unless we comment to the responses, with something that furthers the topic, it is not a discussion at all. It remains a question with some answers. We don't earn for the responses that others post. They earn for those. We will earn, and it will only become a discussion, when we (or others) comment and by commenting we will be earning too.

I have nvever ever seen you 'only say "thank you"' Once you start you just keep going until you leave for work. I wonder if you really do any work or if you go there for a rest

haha I can now extend my mylot activity at work, during breaks and lunch of course. My IT friend gave me access to office internet so I could still post in mylot using my handy dandy iPod touch I'm going to work now but I'll be back during my break, that's for sure

I don't really get your point when I respond I only say "thank you" and then when they say "welcome" then that's interaction

We don't earn from our discussions, even if it gets a lot of responses , if we don't answer to the responses. Hence, we should always respond back substantially to the responses.

It's not a requirement that you must comment back to all replies/comments on your discussion but as you said it will certainly help us earn more. If somehow we would like to increase our earnings by commenting back lets try to at least leave a comment which would be interactive. I guess you would agree with me that commenting back in that way would also open the opportunity for more earning and fun interactions, right?

Hexeduser, you are right even we doon't earn by posting comments, we may earn rates/reputation. SMPLYD, you are right that we need to response substantially just to give respect and appreciation to the one responded on our discussion. This only shows that we don't post discussion for the sake of earning but for asking idea from others.

Hexeduxer, as the one who started the discussion, we should comment back in such a way that the respondent would still have the motivation to answer back and make the discussion as you said interactive. A lot of my discussions, would have interactions that i enjoy so much. That's because i make it a point to be comment in a way that i would still want their further opinion.

I start a few discussions in a week. I get many answers usually and I comment of some of the answers. I also answer some of my friend´s discussions, but not all of them. Some answers require a comment such as "yeah" or "thanks for replying". There´s nothing else to say. So, why answer those if time is so short to answer other discussions with more meaning? I do the same in real life at parties. I mingle but don´t stay where nothing that is said interests me.

You are right, because some of the comments has been said by others. I already post my comment on the other respondents so just to give respect and appreciation to those give their opinions, a simple thanks may be enough.

Usually when people take their time in giving a response of good quality, you can comment on that. If the answer is just to see if the person earns a penny, I don´t bother to comment.

I just came back again after a long absence here in mylot and just started one topic with few responses. I don't feel like starting a new one again as it make me feel desperate to see my topic with few responses.Maybe I need to be active more and make more friends then I will start another topic, soon.

I just got back too and I haven't started any discussion yet. I'll be viewing your page later and browse through your discussions later to see if I find something that would interest me. If I find one then I'm sure we'll be interacting with each other more often than you can think of

angelgee14 I do feel the same when no one responded my discussion. I just keep on thinking that it does not caught the interest of others to respond on the discussion. Better luck next time...hehehe

I have joined Mylot only a couple of days ago.Till now I have not started any discussion. Actually I am trying to think of an interesting topic on which to start a discussion so that it may be responded to by a good number of other mylotters. No topic has come to my mind. Whenever I start a discussion,I would not forget to add comment to responses by other mylotters.

Just think of something that you would like to write or maybe learn more about. Mylot has a lot of members and I'm sure there will always be mylotters who would have the same interest as you. Might as well join the interest that you are really interested and follow the mylotters you find in that interest and for sure you'll never be running out of responders Welcome to Mylot

I try to place comments on many of them. A lot of times lately it's taken a bit before a reponse so I usually make a discussion and then leave the computer for a bit either for work or just to relax, and when I get back there are a few to respond to and that makes me happy. After the first few responders and my comments back to them I find that more come and faster.

It makes me feel happy when someone responded my discussion which means that I got their attention or interest on my topic. I need to leave comment on their respond as a small way of appreciation.

When I start a discussion (which is not very often), I make sure that I comment on all the responses not just because I get to earn from it but also because I feel that it's kind of rude not to comment on the people who took that time to respond. I feel that not doing so means ignoring them and I think that's not a good practice.

Sometimes I do when I noticed that there new responses but sometimes miss looked other peoples responses and posted a late response. How I wish there is also a notification when someone posted a response. Well, anyway, that's facebook that has notifications in red. Hehehe

I don't really start all that many discussions here on Mylot because it really is tough for me to think up an interesting discussion that would make other Mylot members reply to it. I have read other discussions where other Mylot members say that they don't get many replies to their discussions. I guess the more interesting a discussion the more likely you will get a response.

I see to it that I comment back to all the comments I receive in my discussions. Sometimes though I fail to be interactive because there is just nothing to add more in some comments unless I spend more time on it trying to compose a very creative response that can trigger another response from the one that responded or others that read the comment. By the way, do you like to engage into a series of comments with mylotters that leave comments in your discussions?

Hello, asdomencil. I do post to all of the comments, because it is better to respond with at least something. I feel that we should respect each other enough to post. It may not be something that I want to do, but it is a way to show that we have respect for others who took time to post. Regardless of their viewpoint. That is what I think... Have a great day...

I do...I make it a point that I respond to those who have posted in my discussions. Cause its like thanking them for responding at my topic.

Dear friend, I say beginning with that, I do not write many threads. This is because I prefer their quality rather than quantity factors. However, just to answer your question, after writing a discussion, do not always get comments of response on that. At that point I believe that this happens because no one is interested in the topic that I have treated.
