My daughers St. Patricks day present never arrived

I bought each of my kids a video game on ebay 11 days ago from two different sellers. The one package which had my sons video game in it arrived long ago. My daughters its been 11 days and it hasent arrived. I looked at the tracking number the sellers gave me and it doesnt show that its even been shipped yet.
I felt so bad that my daughter didnt have her present for today so I took her to the store downtown and let her buy a $5 gift while she waits for her present to arrive. I am very upset about her not having her present yet :(

Hi shaggin, this happens to me all the time it aways happens on ebay way i don,t know. Anytime i buy someting on ebay i have to wait a week mybe two and when it does come i don,t realy wan,t it anymore. I am sure your daughter will understand and i hope you understand that its not you its dam ebay for some reason, Take care talk soon. PS Happy St,Patricks Day.

That has to be hurtful. I really don't use E-Bay anymore. I belong to two sites where I can buy things at big discounts. And one of them I can practically get them for free. I have ordered three iPhone cases, one from one site and two from another. I have gotten them way before they said I would. And they are new products and wrapped very well. So, later for E-Bay.

Oh..that stinks. I would be emailing that seller for sure. Once he gets payment, it should be in the mail. You probably need to go ahead and report him to ebay too. After a certain amount of time, they won't do anything about it. I can't remember what the time period but I know there is one.
I hope she has got her present by now though.

Well after 14 days it finally arrived. Never received a response back from the seller about why it was late and when he sent it. The game was supposed to be like new which means not brand new but looks like it with no scatches on the disc. Well the disc had light scratches but it still plays but obviously wasent as described. So I left them negative feedback. I am not happy with this seller at all.

What you could have to do:
If their official delivery of the item is 48 working hrs., 3/5 working days, and when you were not in receipt of the item, do the follow up with billing details. Now you can wirte to them saying that the product is not yet delivered within the time limits and exceeded more of so many days and ask for a refund as they could'nt provide it.
You can mention your remarks as (-) negative and put your comments on the seller's site. Also, ask the seller for justification and deny the product at the time of delivery (if not requied now). The rest all depend on you.

That's too bad! I bet that seller won't get an excellent review from you! :)
I haven't ordered much off ebay but what I did order was delivered in the time that was stated. I ordered books and they were from 2 different sellers that had good reviews.
That was nice that you let her buy something. It's hard for kids to understand mistakes like that. It sounds like she knows it wasn't your fault, though.

I'm sorry that happened when it was supposed to be a present for your daughter on St Patty's Day, that is why I wouldn't buy stuff like that for gifts unless I have a back up. eBay is very reliable for me and I sell things on there shipping out the same or next day. If the PO takes their sweet time in delivering it, it is out of my hands unfortunately. I'm happy to hear you managed to at least her her another present while that one finally got shipped. Have you contacted the buyer? Let him or her know you haven't seen it yet. I think a week in delivery isn't too bad, but over two weeks there is something wrong. Alot could happen with both the buyers and the sellers, they could get into an accident, or get sick, etc. Thats the excuses I have already heard with some of my buyers anyways.

First after the 11 days since I bought it and paid immediately with paypal I went and looked at his feedback which wasent very good at all. If I had been paying attention and checking feedback like I used to I wouldnt have bought from this seller. A lot of his feedback said item not as described, disk was scratched, item didnt arrive for a month, no communication from seller. I sent them a message and have not heard back from them. I will check the mail tomorrow and open a dispute if it hasnt arrived by then. If his feedback had been good I wouldnt be so concerned.

I am so sorry to hear that your daughters gift has not arrived yet I hope it arrives soon. If you have not already done so I would get a hold of the seller and see what is going on.

That’s so sad to hear. Am sure she was heartbroken. Am very surprised to hear this because stuff rarely gets lost on eBay. I say this because I am all the way in Kenya and my stuff gets here in 3 days whenever I order. I am sure they will sort you out and your daughters present will come.
